Goo gun

Devs need to remove team fire with the goo gun. absolutely bs when someone decides to grief entire game. the only option is to leave the game.

Goo gun inherently lends itself to griefing. Want to ride that zipline up to that platform? Heavy can block that. Need to go through a door? Heavy can block that. You place a turret? heavy can block that. So many things an enemy heavy can do to mess with you, can be done by your own guy.

Yes and I can kill the enemy to stop that? I can't kill my own team to stop the grief. I don't care if an enemy team does that as I count that as a strategy. I think you didn't understand the fact that goo gun can literally be shot directly at the team mates body to restrict their movement, and if you're not playing a light build with evasive dash, you are pretty much trapped with that goo on your face entire game.

No i understood i was just writing at 3am. Point I was getting at is that it IS a viable thing to have for an enemy, just strategy as you said. But by its nature as a thing that puts objects into the world, its kinda hard to make it not useful for griefers on your own team. Short of making it so your team can see/ walk/ shoot through it in which case it would just be over powered.

the only way to fix it is, if the goo lands on an ally or ally equipment, its instantly destroyed and doesnt slow them down.
