to me it's kind of funny that BF2042 was such a ♥♥♥♥ show, and then I find out Embark was founded by a bunch of ex-Dice and then they released this banger. It's almost like a good bunch of Dice's talent went to Embark.

i read an article about how a lot of dice developers left because bf should become a br/hero shooter...

now we have the finals. it's a nice game. but imagine bf if you let these people develop it...

yeah, BF2042 clearly started development as a hero shooter BR, the early end game screens were clearly designed as end-game screens for a BR. To be fair though, although Dice sweden made the better BF games (before they went to ♥♥♥♥), it was Dice LA that fixed them after launch.
