PSA stop leaving games because you die or think we're losing
haven't been able to finish an entire match today (quick cash) because our random has left every single game because we didn't cash out right away, or we get wiped or whatever. This game can turn around so fast and you're just a ♥♥♥♥ if you leave mid game because you're mad. Just had our random leave a match, he was a light, I figured since he was a light he wouldn't leave because most people just see a light (me) on the team and automatically assume we're going to lose. I had 8 kills, my medium friend had 10 kills and the random had 5. The second team just cashed out and he just left. We ended up cashing out the 3rd box as a 2 man team, and would have had a good chance to come back if he didn't leave. Stop being that guy. This game needs to punish leavers more in quick play, idc.

Eh

There's no penalty for leaving a quickie so if I'm dealing with two mongoloids fogging up their monitor with their chronic mouth breathing, then I'll just dip and find a new time. That's literally the whole point of a casual game mode, come and go with no penalty, a small reward for winning, and little to no punishment for losing (elo loss in this case). Would rather join a match at halftime than 1v3v3.

I'll lose a good fight, but I've only got a few hours to play each night so I'm not going to waste my time with people not interested in turning their monitor on before launching the game.

and this is my point, most people leave before they can even gauge how the game is going to go. Just because the light runs off to go get the cash out and you get jumped by a team, doesn't mean that light isn't going to be helpful. I had a game yesterday where I took the vault to the cashout and my random died, I literally left the cashout unattended to go revive the dude, stopped a steal from like 200m away while going to get the randoms statue and then he left just as soon as I got to him and started reviving. I agree there are times when team mates are absolutely useless, but you can't just blanket assume that everyone playing that class is useless. From my point of view, most random heavies are useless, but I don't leave the match because there is a heavy on my team.

there is a penalty for leaving quick play, you lose any xp gained and progress towards dailies, but because of people like you there should be abandon penalties.

We play against obvious premades all the time, and still win. Hell, we have a friend who isn't even that good at shooters, but he's more useful than 90% of the randoms I've played simply because he's in voice chat with us and doesn't leave the game when he dies. You're going to lose games some times regardless of your team mates, why bother playing if you're just going to leave when you "think" you're going to lose. Game can literally turn around in the last 30 seconds.

I'd rather have fun than win and it isn't fun getting farmed because your team is off trying to pretend to be a streamer invisible. You being the ONLY VISIBLE player means you are going to die. Medium and Heavy do not have good tools for escaping. If your zoomer light team mates aren't close...you're dead.

Yeah xp loss isn't a penalty anyone cares about. I've won plenty of quickies after a teammate left (and both) and plenty after joining mid match. You're just being a baby because you're too scared to play ranked. I've got 10 years in CS, I see it all the time.

You're literally queuing the wrong game mode and getting mad that people aren't taking it as seriously as you are. You have no idea how many of your teammates left for reasons completely outside of the game, or just outright crashed. You're just assuming every single one is a rage quit because you're, again, a little baby.

Queue ranked, touch grass, and lay off the casuals. You'll genuinely have more fun.

you act like every light plays cloak, I rarely see any cloaked lights. I disagree about being mobile as a medium, I can get across the map just as fast, or sometimes faster as a medium than a light and have no problems escaping from fights, heavies yes, they are slow, but also have more 1-shot abilities and weapons than any other class and have 2 shields. So you die, who cares, respawn if you don't get revived right away, it's quickplay, they are free, maybe join voice chat. jesus christ, some people just leave the game if they die and don't get revived immediately, and no ones talking. I see people complaining that no one uses voice chat, but yet they never use voicechat themselves.

Mediums only mobility is the pad that the enemy can also use. Base speed light and medium are pretty similar. Lights only escape because of dashes, cloak or hook..but no one plays hook. If I'm a medium or heavy and have two lights I will continue to leave. I'm not interested in getting beat down while my team mates fish for kills.

Stop cry, go play ranked.

I haven't played ranked yet because there's no way in hell im playing ranked with randoms when I can't even trust random team mates in quickplay, and my friends haven't unlocked ranked yet. I play tourney mode with my friends when they are online every opportunity I get because I can't get through a single quick play game without someone leaving. I'm not crying because people aren't taking quickplay seriously, im pissed off that I can't play quickplay when my friends aren't around because LITERALLY NO ONE STAYS IN THE GAME. 5 games in a row yesterday someone left. I also mentioned previously that it's very possible people are leaving the game because they are crashing (obviously you didn't read any previous posts), but I can almost guarantee you 90% of the people leaving aren't crashing, they are butt hurt they died and didn't get revived immediately, or they are butt hurt because the first cashout was stolen. It's generally pretty obvious when someone crashes because they will just stop shooting mid fight and stand there until they blip out of existence.

And I don't know what point you're trying to make by saying you have 10 years in CS, I've been playing CS since it was a half-life mod in beta.

I only use hook as a light, literally the best specialisation they have unless you wanna cheese cloak and shotgun.

Lol you're literally proving the point that your friend is better than any random and wonder why people quit games when paired with useless randoms. I don't quit games but the game is literally unplayable and antifun in soloq.

yeah my friend who sucks at shooters is better than randoms because he doesn't leave the game when he dies. The whole point im trying to make here is people leave the game because they THINK their randoms are useless, but they don't even stay in the game long enough to even gauge them properly.

I personally don't see it anymore. Maybe more useful in other game modes but in cash out it sucks when most of the cashouts are indoors. It has a long CD. If you use sniper and hook...your opinion makes sense to me now..
Waahson Dec 14, 2023 @ 8:54am
You haven't played ranked yet because you're scared, don't make excuses.

You play quickies because you want the option to leave if you aren't having fun or don't like your team, but you know if you admit that you'll look like an idiot. Unfortunately, my man, you already do.

There was no point about CS, you entirely missed the point there because, again, you're a baby that just want to cry. Go play ranked, you're actively putting yourself in a situation you don't like and making excuses as to why you feel you have to.

no, usually pistol or throwing knives (used to main LH1 but it's useless now). I never liked the sniper in this game (as some one who has 1000s of hours playing with a scout in CS)

I play quick play when I'm by myself, and I've never left a game. How delusional is that that you think I play quickplay so I have the option to leave, but then create a thread complaining about people leaving lol gtfo of here.
