First of all it depends on your region, the closer you are to Asia the more cheaters you have in any game. As for my experience in NA servers, no. I've played about 1000 hours and have never encountered a blatant cheater in at least the past 900. Sometimes you run into someone who is SUPER good and its suspicious how they always destroy you..... but the only time I've ever seen somebody openly using hacks and killing people in impossible ways was in season 1. Some people in this community will say yes there are cheaters, and some of those people will tell you anyone who says no is a cheater themselves. I firmly believe those people are too bad at the game to understand what is impossible and what can be accomplished by a skilled player

If someone is super good, then he is a cheater by 200%. Because they use software that helps shoot more accurately. Now even computer mice are sold with AI software that removes recoil and helps keep the aim. Even for consoles there are consoles with neural networks and macros. Now you can program your aim bot yourself in GPT. It's easy. A lot of players use AI aim assistant because they are not detected by anti-cheat

Yup, I reckon it's because we do well. My regular team and I frequently win against 3-6 cheaters in quickcash, and each time we do the matchmaking gets more and more cheaty until we end up against ragehackers until we finally lose, then wash rinse repeat.

But at the moment on EU servers, I'm facing cheaters in 95% of my games. The 5% that I'm not if they are cheating, they're awful at it.

Pretty much at least one guy is using wallhacks every lobby, at worst you have "clanmates" with unironical aimbot.

If someone says that there's no hackers in this game - well, congrats on being bottom 5% in SBMM eyes so you play against similar vegetables.

Shooter fans and GMs see this very well. I only need 5 seconds of your gameplay to notice an atypical recoil pattern and assist. Then you'll complain that you were banned for nothing.

I'm super good, and I would probably make you rage and think I'm cheating . Some people are just better than you and you have to accept that. Being hyperbolic and saying "he is a cheater by 200%" just makes you look emotional and leads any reasonable person to realize that you are probably overreacting

it's been getting progressively worse. You'll have a bunch of people thinking it's fine or trying to gaslight you into playing, but the game's rife with cheaters and toxicity. I wouldn't play it, go for Team fortress 2 instead. Same style game, customization, and all that - but much better in every way.

An example being these losers on "console" or controller on PC that have mouse/keyboard movement, (reWASD) or you'll have folks with zero gamesense and a new account laser-beaming you from across Kyoto with a full-auto spray from one of the SMGs. It's as easy as a singular google search to find a github repository where you can download cheats for free. it's so easy to cheat.

There are gamebreaking bugs that make it completely unenjoyable (Radar/detection not working, or conversely staying active the entire match) Your weapons dissapearing, you become unable to act/sprint/shoot, the blatant server desync during loaded moments, horrific optimization.
That all on top of the fact the games matchmaking is not optimized to create fair matches, but just matches. It's always a stomp, and the few fair matches that aren't - aren't even really worth the rest of the refuse you have to wade through.

TL:DR - The game's full of cheaters and toxicity, play TF2 instead.
