They removed stun gun? :(
I liked using taser. Didn't feel it was particularly disruptive after the ADS nerf but oh well. Was always super fun sneaking up on someone with the taser and cloak, made me feel like prophet from crysis

its not removed tho
its coming back after a rework sometime this season, and it was disruptive as hell to the movement which is a big part of the game, it has been so much more fun without it for a month
idk why the devs are so set on keeping the stun gun.
people complained about nukes so they removed nukes.
people complained about recon sense so recon sense was quickly reworked and then removed.
but when it comes to light its all oh the winrate is low cant touch lights toys
even tho people have been complaining about it since the games launch.

tbh tho i never really seen many lights using it and when they did it wasint the hardest thing to just whip around and blast em unless they had the shotgun on you already... but then at that point they didnt even need the stun gun.
so i do get why it stuck around for so long but damn why they gotta do medium and heavy dirty but light always gets the pass for being the weak class.

stun gun isnt even hard to balance just make it so you have to charge it up for a sec to taze someone so it takes skill and timing

yeah that would actually work or even make is a spec. you lose your mobility to stop others mobility.

but sadly embark is slow on deciding how to balance things. like the S6 fcar and aps changes they made. so many people asked for those exact changes the day they got nerfed and it took them 3 seasons to do it.
personally i would have made the APS turret block 5 items but 4 is okay and does factor in mediums stacking it without making it totally useless for a lone medium to take. not to mention they added in a counter to it in S2 with reshaper just nobody wanted to use it cause it kinda sucked then.

even when it was good nobody used the reshaper
i'm a med heal with reshaper for support, in 1150 hours i've seen ONE medium using reshaper besides myself. ONE
nobody picks this gadget, so embark decided to nerf it cause apprently it was so OP that nobody used it!
at this point i'm convinced that embark balances the game randomly. the last patch buffed a light gun, WOW i'm so shocked! as always they only care about lights .
