Season 6 best loadouts for Medium
So, new weapons are tested and pushed to their limits. What are your thoughts on the best medium loadout, if we assume we are somewhat skilled with the weapon of choice.

I like to use Medium as a support class, so Cerberus/Revolver and Healgun/turret. I run Goo-nades with Cerberus because the free area denial with fire, and Revolver because it does really good damage and has good range.

I also use flashbangs a lot in conjunction with everything else, the goo grenades giving me cover to underhand a flash over it and blind anyone chasing me. That or gas grenades to deny an area.

Ability : Healgun

Weapon Choice: AKM for M/L, SCAR for H (Rarely model and dblade)

My Devices: Glitch Mine, APS Turret, Defib (I switch APS for smoke depending on the game mode)

These are the setups I mostly use. Since I play as support, I always keep the healgun, defib, and glitch mine in my loadout. The remaining device changes depending on the game mode I’m playing.

If you play with a team you should bring mobility for the Heavy, zipline and or pad, Defib is a must, then gas-glitch mines or goo if you use a short range weapon. Demat is a must.
Cerberus if you don't have aim. AK if you don't have too much aim. Pike and .357 if you are able to aim.

I really don't think there is a "best" load out. A lot of it depends on what game mode your playing and even more depends on your play style. I like to run a box defense loadout which can leave you compromised a bit if you are attacking to take the box vs defending it.. but with only 3 slots you'll always be without something really good which kinda sucks. Healing gun is alright but the healing isn't very good per sec and it lasts only a short time so the other options can be better depending on your team comp. I think trying many different combos out over a span of games will help narrow down what you like best because my build might tilt you off the face of the earth if you try it but someone elses build may feel leagues better or come up with your own wacky combo. Experiment and see what you like and be willing to be flexable. People who never swap(looking at you light mains) depending on comps, modes and maps will likely suffer the most L's over the long term.

Riot shield always works

So, I believe at this point, it is probably demat+Cerberus or a pyke, +jump pad, pyro to zone, win time, distract. Defib.
With this loadout, you play to kill destroy. "Solo carry"

The other would be team oriented.
Heal beam, akm/fcar. Just a lot of bullets to spray as a team or help mates finish off. Again defib jump pad/Zipline and any nade(fire, goo, frag).

Long story short. Pyke/revolver/repeater are the strongest if you only hit.
Fcar best overall weapon.

Ability: heal beam

Primary: Riot shield

Gadgets: defibs, zipline, aps turrets or glitch mines (dependent on throwable spam)

Probably not the best all around loadout but the one that I'm best with, preferably run on a MMH or MHH team setup, orbit around your teammates more than focusing points or kills, the riot shield allows you to make risky pushes towards your teammates or against isolated players.

Defib is obvious as to why.

Ziplines are the better movement tech option for medium with riot shield, my best advice outside of setting it up to get from A-B, is to get your heavy to blow a chunk out of a floor above the cashbox and set your Zipline going up (preferably at an angle where it's near impossible for enemy players to use the Zipline unless they rush the position you've placed) and use it to cover across points quicker (you can still block damage while ziplining, it's a good strat to use a Zipline to make a melee push and catch people off guard)

Aps turrets/ glitch mines for general utilities on point, if you bring glitch mines remember to orbit around them, the whole point of bringing them is to bully players in melee range easier.

I run the same thing but with goo/fire and data reshaper
