The spinup on this minigun is crazy slow... then it also doesnt do that much damage....

You are comparing apples with oranges. Warframe is A PvE with tons of farming with zero skills, The Finals is PvP and it requires skills and team coordination. Most people don't like sweaty games, they prefer to stay on the sofà pressing a button, repeating the same mission over and over again farming useless crap, just to relax.

I think there is a fundamental difference here. Warframe is Co op PvE where as The Finals is PvP with a strong chaotic and competitive bend. I believe this means that players of Warframe are less likely to speak on or even notice the games flaws where as The Finals players, and FPS players in general, are much more likely to get salty encountering things that annoy them and blame the devs and their teammates.

Are there things worth complaining about here? Yeah. Im not saying this game is without flaws, its got its problems and questionable decisions. But the devs aren't as bad as people make them out to be, they're clearly working hard on the game and DO take player feedback changing things that people complain about. We should talk about the games flaws not trash talk the devs.
i was only trying give a answer to his question,which was what games with balancing and decent devs? i should have stated a fps but the question never asked for that.so i gave a example of a free to play game with guns/weapons that have balancing that effects gameplay and a dev team that is similar to embark in size.both games & dev teams still considered niche.the finals has about 20 weapons(i not really sure) warframe has about 2000 what team has more workload?
the finals servers were down for a few hrs did't hear boo from embark,warframe update had 5 hotfixes within 24hrs for latest update.all games have flaws and or bugs but a good dev team address issues quickly because they respect the fans/comsumers.i still get bugs from beta 1 year ago.
2 heavies with mesh and 2 miniguns+1 m with healing beam and aps can hold any position for a looong time

I find it easier to play with MGL than Minigun.
In QC if u have 6L backstabbing u with buffed dagger and sword then its GG.

Its AWFUL lol, enemies will just stand there and take your bullets because you do like 1 damage while they fill your head with lead. It sounds dangerous but it doesn't really do anything.
Before unlocking it I already thought it was weird that despite half of heavies trying it out, I only died to them like once. Then I tried it myself and yeah I can confirm, its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. A shame heavy gets the meme guns while Medium gets a repeater that melts anything within 1-3 shoots.

So far I've only had good results against bad players. It is fun when the enemy is bad but those matches are blatantly one-sided. Any skilled player knows not to run straight into a revved up minigun, and with the constant noise it makes its pretty easy to tell where the Heavy is. Anything further than 10 meters can just stand and out trade you because the damage falloff and accuracy is so bad, and at close range any light can shred you faster since you're screaming "headshot me" I know its not run and gun but it seems to perform terribly at everything that isn't standing directly in front of you. Also because its so loud and good players know where you are, they always try to get you from behind or weird angles from above, usually at a decent distance where your bullets turn into rubber BBs and their rifles can still shred you.
Only bad players will bite the bait and run into your sights.

Because it's not a weapon fo 1v1, this is a team based game. IT's a weapon ables to control a whole open space for unlimited time. BTW there is the M60, more suitable for fast combats.

The minigun can control 10 meters. And only 1 on 1. The second enemy teammate will destroy you. Even a light will easily destroy you from a distance of 15 meters. The minigun is too useless. It should have a spread twice less than it is now. I have 28,000 kills in the game. I fly around the map with this gun with a rotating barrel, so it doesn't affect the speed of movement. I easily found the tactics of moving, jumping and sliding with him. And he is still bad. The M 60 does a third more damage at a distance of 10 meters because half of the hits are in the head. And its effective range is 3 times greater. Minigun either needs to remove the spread or add some kind of suppression effect, like it was in Battlefield. When you are under fire your accuracy decreases. I like how the gun is implemented and the sound to it. It's cool. But it's useless in the game. as an option to make it profitable to fire in short bursts

I think that 10m on a minigun is a joke, it should have a very long range, the downside is the spin up and maintain it to spin, spread that many shots will miss either way and they even made it above 10m completely trash...

It's fun to play with but competitive it's beyond useless.

Case and point. The range in responses in this post where some players say it's OP and others are saying it needs buffed.

It is good at close range until a sword light dash dances around you like an annoying ankle biting chihuahua that just wont die. Or you get outranged and out DPSd by lights pistols and smgs that just beam headshots.

little timmy can throw butter knives and do more damage before you've even thought of spinning up the minigun lmao.
Might as well just make it shoot nerf bullets that tickle the enemy at this point.

Stun or knockback may not be a bad fix, at least it could put it on par with the flamethrower.
