Ok it may be extremely slow to ignit, and even more slower to reload, however close range mid range is just incredibly accurate and damages are just over the top !!!!

Previous seasons I could take scrappy 1v1 duels with Tanks. Forget it now. The second I hear that ♥♥♥♥ whir up I'm bailing. I've seen 1 heavy alone shread though a 3 man like butter with zero help from anyone else when the minigun was last alive on the box. Lights get another ez clap gun and mediums got another garbage shotgun... sweet deal yo. Only upside is I see more people actually playing tank instead of 3 lights or 3 med.

I will say, some teams get top heavy with nothing but minis and then you can kinda tip them over with gas/fire

Games dare even touch the idea of adding a minigun to their game nowadays. It is awesome and fun.

I've had good luck with Sledge + Reeling them in on chain. They have to go through whirring up again to shoot so you'll pretty much zero them before they can retaliate.

a completely useless gun. At close range it is useless because it takes a long time to spin up. At medium range it does not outshoot assault rifles. It needs to reduce the spread as it was in the playtest otherwise there is no point in it. And I only use it because it looks cool. Now they will play with it for a couple of days and then abandon it. A shotgun is more useful than this.

Its a new gun ofc every1 tries it out. Even just for the 3xH clown team.
Why do you think the player nrs are over 2x higher than last season, and peak 3x?
Maybe its something to do with the fact that minigun itself is cool af, and if it adds even a slight chance to fight off 3xL meta, then even better.

I can also bet than b4 the end of next week only few will use it anymore. When the rush of new is over.

I myself also got tired of forced to play L if I wanted to have any fun akd was abouy to take a break. But I have to try out the minigun, just for fun. Doesnt even matter if i win or loose but its fun, for a while at least. Remember s1, when every game used to just pure mayhem, destruction and fun?

crazy how you immediately state the reasons why its well balanced. maybe so many people are using it because it came out yesterday and is fun (in a gimmicky cool way)? but no you probably just died to it while trying to solo a team of heavies as light. I could literally say the same thing about the repeater OR the light's new gun. Everyone is using them because they are new.

But the gun is still useless. M60 is much better. Minigun has too much spread. It was smaller in playtest.
I think they will fix it yet. Towards increasing accuracy.

I shoot from it without losing running speed
Press jump then fire, jump again - fire
Have time to release the fire button before you touch the ground

Minigun was meta and fun until all the lights and mediums figured out the hard counters within 2 days. The gun is not even usable anymore...it sucks

im just saying the strat is use the charge slam as your skill. wait outside a wall of an cashout and charge the mini gun when somebody tries to steal use your charge slam to break through the wall cancel the charge slam and the mini gun will still be spinning giving you a free kill and they never new

Or.......Just use the M60 and not need to deal with the worthless minigun. Long Range M60 is better, Medium Range M60 is better, But I suppose if they are ALREADY shooting and you end up in front of them it may beat the M60 in Close Range........maybe.
