I learned pretty early on how fundamental goo grenades are. If you're in a super bad spot and are getting lasered, throw one down and reset.
Light isn't OP, you'll figure out what sticks and what sinks with a bit more time though.
Find what gun you love using and work around that first.
Anyway, if you stick around long enough, you'll learn the nuances of movement... movement is key in this game. Not sure what class you're main'ing... but one that everyone benefits from is jump + slide. Works even better if you're running, or using a traversal gadget like jump pad (angled to give you more forward momentum) or zip line, or grapple hook.
saying your a sweat in TF2 but also saying things move to fast lol
compared to TF2 lights are not moving that fast
and theres not many meta weapons in the finals. lights seem like they do way more damage but thats just to balance the TTK between them and the other classes
light also still has the lowest winrate as far as i know
im not sure if it shares the same headshot multiplier as the sniper which is just x1(230) but im gonna assume it does. even if its not it'll still be pretty close i know bow got some changes but i cant remember them.
just a quick rundown of the bows breakpoints without falloff and against full hp targets...
-against other lights you need a headshot to one hit kill or 2 body shots one at full charge and a quick shot i think. or a quick melee.
-against mediums you need one headshot and one quick body shot
or 3 body shots 2 at full charge and one quick shot/melee.
-heavy would be 2 headshots or 4 body shots 3 full charge and one quick shot/melee
for having 8 hours in the game Xuild seems to have a better understanding of the breakpoints then 80% of the playerbase. but im pretty sure the bow isint a meta weapon. its kind of something to just dunk on people your better then.
i really just made this post to comment on how overpowered light is compared to literally every other class
oh and also, even despite having 8 hours, i team wiped two teams pretty much by myself with just the bow, showing how overpowered it is
