Sooo is there a point to winning?
So as a new player; is there a point to winning besides to win? I mean i get it; i want to win but trying to unlock new weapons is a chore and I hoped getting Ws would speed it up but ive gotten 110vrs from a 3rd place and won with only getting 130? besides my stats i see no reason to do nothing but go for kills

The amount of VRs is based on your game time for each match, not about winning or losing. For example, in Power Shift mode, 10 minutes = 110 VR. But you'll get more if you can contest for the overtime. 130 VR is the highest amount I've seen so far for this mode.

The only reward for winning is cosmetics (ranked and highest rank of world tour) and the premium currency multibucks in world tour. But in world tour's case, other than emerald, it's a participation trophy... you can never win a world tour and still get to plat 1, it will just take a lot, lot longer. you only gain points for WT badge by round wins, and at emerald only for winning the entire thing.

You don’t get things from video games in the first place besides fun. In fact, the majority of video games cost you money to play, so you’re in the wrong place if you wanted something lucrative or at least physical from winning.

Wait... the devs dont mail me a check for every win? I dont get an award in the mail for being number 1???? Ive been lied to.

Thanks for that unhelpful post there buddy. As a new player to this game i was just trying to find out if there is a way to get more VRs for unlocks or some sort of carrot really for winning matches. A group of us decided to try out the finals due to it being a fun looking crossplay game and I am simply asking what everyone in my group has been asking me about match rewards.

Just play the game.
Ive never looked at daily or sponsorship contracts and I get them done before evem noticing.
Same with unlocks, few games in and in the end u have 5000/5000VRs and nothing to do with them.
If u feel like not having the best equipment for ranked, play some casuals to unlick ur stuff.
Even though basic AK is used evem by emeralds mostly, and basic healing beam as ability.
And casuals being even more sweaty by 9XL living in ur back TDMing alls the time with stun gun...

That’s not what you provided in either the thread title or description. A suitable title, for example would be: “how do I get more fans/VRs/exp?” or “how much more credits do I get vs winning/losing?”

Imagine being so pedantic and boring that you have to respond like such an as5hole to someone's question about a game.

They clearly stated they were concerned about the amount of time it takes to unlock new weapons through the VR system and how there seems to be little difference between the amount earned whether you win or lose.
