Might delete it again, maybe the game removes f2p enjoyers this way
Also very difficult to get a error report when it sends my pc into a reboot and more difficult to record as the whole pc restarts and my steam recording won't even play what was recorded.
It is the most frustrating thing about The Finals, iv read a few forms where they say that AMD gaming motherboards comes standard overclocked and I'm supposed to change that but I don't see why I should play with manufacturers settings to get 1 game working.
I really hope they get this issue sorted out.
On Intel side CPUs are OC so heavily that they even broke- and thata the reason why Intel CPUs are mainly crashing in UE5 games. The Finals is one of the few UE5 game engine bases game atm(wu kong, stalker2 are also).
So if u have 13th/14th gen CPU then it will crash with most bizarre errors like out of video memory...
Sometimes systems become unstable if u enable XMP/DOCP for ur RAM.
It helps if u lower the frequency 1 step usually

This error is usually caused by third party antivirus tool and Malware Bytes.
Try removing that software (making sure that Windows Defender + Real time protection is still ON) and seeing if that solves your issue.
Crashed again yesterday and did bring Up the message but it wouldn't screenshot and save my whole pc froze after the game crashed. Will take a photo next time 🫣🤣

Unreal Engine runs rough.
The most basic thing is to close background programs and lower settings if you think your PC is getting more warm then usual.
If you play other games they may have a different Anti cheat and that will mess with The Finals so you may have to restart between X game and steam. (Dungeonborne made me have to restart before I could play The Finals)
If you are having an overheat issue maybe...just maybe.....check your filters for animal hair and or dust or vape smoke or gremlins.........make sure your fans are running correctly.
And for a while IDK if they fixed it but having a controller plugged in even if you are not using it made the game run worse for some sort of magic.
Stuff to think about.
It has been a few weeks now and have not had the game crash or game crash my PC,
A big thank you to Embark Studios for resolving the issues.
What did you do to fix this? I’m still having problems with crashing, and support has yet to help me.
