CL-40 rant
Why was it nerfed? It was one of the best weapons against lights and now if i don't hit ppl straight in their face - i don't deal dmg. Increasing self dmg was a good call, but now we basicly got no spash.

Example - 1v1 against light with knifes/sword and dash. All he has to do is kiss my face and click attack button twice to kill me (+melee). I, on the other hand, have to ether hit a perfect shot + melee (without damaging myself ofc) or spend all 5 shots to deal enough splash dmg for him to run away (which won't happen, light will kill me faster).

And don't get me started on fighting heavies (you are cooked). The only viable strat with CL-40 right now is to camp cashouts from above (dematerializer is best, as always), spamming gas/explosive mines. But you can do the same thing with AK-47 or Famas and have options to fight at range.

CL-40 was never a meta weapon (coming from s1 and s2 expirience), but now it's just sucks, basicly nobody uses it. All it needs is a little more splash. Pls make CL-40 great again.

i would say just have good aim with other weapons but the hit reg in this game is so ♥♥♥♥ i really have nothing for ya. If a light dashes as you shoot it basically wont do any damage even if the bullets go through them
The sniper rifle,grenade launchers, and stun gun don't even need to be in the game.

The rework of explosive damage work, which was done at the end of the second or at the beginning of the third season, ruined a lot.

Over the past 2 seasons, I have already had several precedents (it was about the white room in Las Vegas, which is behind the scene). when 1 L stepped on two of my mines, received 2-3 CL-40 grenades from me, and also managed to shoot a turret at him before he managed to turn the corner, having covered a distance almost equal to the length of the mentioned room. Apparently, yes, I was obliged to somehow shoot 100% accurately from grenade launcher, at someone who has 3 dash available.

Mines do not feel like they are mines at all, grenade launchers do not give the impression that they are grenade launchers at all.

Yeah sounds like you fought the Protagonist, i think his name is Jon Finals seen him in game before, dunno why Embark gave him the exclusive Plot armor item its really OP

(I do agree with you GL and mines don't feel great to use)
just another example of an over reactionary nerf they did in a week or two after it was buffed so you didnt need to use all 4 shots to kill a heavy. but then they make a gun with only 3 shots that can barely kill a heavy with all 3.
but it takes them 2 whole seasons to buff dual blades

it was only nerfed cause it started seeing some use and people didnt like that.
if only they left the APS turret as is.
embark is really good at making their own problems to fix. and they fix the bent nail with a sledge

lights are cringe, but the CL-40 was even cringer

it had absolutely no business being able to reliably kill heavies even without direct hits
