they are probably looking into long term decisions of having it as a one time usage skill like the rpg , or even making the splash damage radius smaller .. all this needs testing ,
remember they are a live service and people buy skins for these weapons , so if they nerf it too much people get annoyed for wasting money on skins that guns are useless

give them time , they know its broken and massively ruining the game but cooking is an art and recipes take time "mwah"

I think CL-40 is the most broken ♥♥♥♥ there's been in this game since nukes, and they need 2 weeks to just look at it and say "Hm, this is overtuned..." and do a quick hotfix to lower a little bit of damage of the weapon until they find a way to balance it correctly? For real?

I never see cl40 users hit 25 kills in a game. I see light players hit 25 kills in a game. End of discussion.

i dont know why they cant revert it to what it was and then spend time cooking? that way people can actually enjoy diverse fights against balanced weapons and they get to spend as much time needed reworking it.

idk, I mean it's powerful but it only has 4 shots loaded at a time, the amount of times I ♥♥♥♥ up just one shot or they dodge it and I am left reloading with no defense is decently high.

In theory what your saying is correct, and it is what embark had in mind, but in practice this is not the case. I'm afraid to say you are vastly outnumbered here and it will 100% get reworked again. If your into this type of gameplay maybe check out Doom or whatever. This game has to be balanced somewhat.
