AKIMBO is OVERTUNED and NEEDS a NERF

Akimbo is too strong. It needs an accuracy drop off at range. It's too accurate and too high damage. It packs a punch at long range and the damage should drop off as well over range. More than it does. Not fun to play against.

I don't think thats a problem considering heavy has literally 0 answers past long to medium-long range, just about everything on heavy has been nerfed to dust and its the least played class. I think damage fall off is fine but inaccuracy is already a huge issue with a majority of heavies weapons, hes only really strong when hes essentially hugging you.

idk what you're supposed to do because Heavy sucks without team coordination. Every class can deleted him so fast. He has zero ways to escape and the damage on most of the weapons is terrible. It feels bad getting 3 tapped as a light by the akimbo but it's also dumb AF that light can 2 tap Heavy with Sawn off and how fast in general they can delete the heavy.

But to be fair, the Heavy can one tap a light. The Heavy also has many up close weapons and his kit sort of centers around his slow, up close and personal damage. The RPG is pretty good for distance. The thrown shield and other shields also encourage people to get close to the heavy. The Machine Guns that the heavy has are not bad.

And I'm just thinking that the Akimbo needs a slight nerf. Just a little more damage drop off at range, maybe a little more range accuracy drop off as well. Not a whole lot, but even as a mid with a higher DPS weapon I lose trades pretty much always... so it doesn't feel good.

Obviously the Heavy would be okay with this, in fact heavy players are probably loving the Akimbo, but they're just a little too strong. Too accurate at distance, too much damage at a distance.

I also thought the Akimbo was going to be a Medium weapon for some reason, which makes me sad.

ngl they gotta stop showing skins as other classes using other classes weapons.

seems to be mostly done to heavys cause heavys got a rather unattractive body so whenever they showcase things for heavy its always put on the medium body.

i see what you mean but using medium instead of heavy just makes it way easier to frame for a UI photo element

have you used it lol, they pretty crap, you got to super slow fire them which is tap.....tap.... tap.... tap to even hit something.
If you tap tap tap tap tap, you cant even hit something 5ft in front of you not moving, pretty much if you wanna feel like the very worst storm trooper use the .50 lol its the most rng gun in the game for acc to hit things.

The damage is alright but the acc is so bad, I murder a team of 3 heavys trying to shot me when I was on a light it was like running at storm troopers lol didnt even move an they missed 95% of the shots its to damn funny.

yeah pretty much. i think the lmgs are overall better then the deagles with the recoil adjustments.... but deagles are fun to use despite the whole im aiming at him but not hitting him thing lol

its really not, Heavy has pretty much nothing going for them beyond the sledge and the rpg. meanwhile, light and mediums are stocked up on viable options.

Umm… Use ads? It’s super accurate unless you have terrible aim.
