World Tour Is A Nightmare

I cannot win World tour matches no matter what I try. I wouldn't consider myself a good player by any means, I have a win/Loss ratio of 0.75 and a KD of about 0.87 (WT Gold 1: 2/3 wins ).

I frequently make it to final round but i have not won a game in about 40-50 games because the final team just wipes the floor with us every time.

Just recently the final team was all in ruby rank, one was placed 88th (TA) and there were top 20 in WT wins.

I don't know if this is the intended experience for the non-competitive mode, but how the hell am I supposed to rank up to, and through emerald when this is my competition.

same problem after last update its hard to win single game with random team they want pp to join the game discord or play with trash team

It's not being entitled to anything, is just asking for a proper matchmaking system, do you know what happens when you put solo players against a full premade team of sweaty metachasers? That they get melted, they don't have fun and quit playing the game, which isn't good for anyone.

I really REALLY want to get to Gold 1 before the season ends but I don't know if I have the patience to subject myself to more hours of this broken matchmaking

I have no idea what happened... for all that time ive been playing it was fun! I didn't see cheaters before... until recently! It's like suddenly EVERYONE became pro. What is happening? What changed? I can barely get to the second round... its absolutely insane

Just broke into silver today after a grind that lasted way too many hours. I'm usually doing alright in quick cash but in world tour it's like I've just discovered FPS games. Add in the inevitable bad synergy with random players and I'm thinking I might just try power shift instead of chasing a stroke.

if you are getting lots of kills i would suggest light but medium is probably the best class to solo que with.
if you want to grind wins.
take the heal beam, model, mines/ frags, jump pad and defib or glitch mines
you can also swap out the heal beam for a turret for the bit of extra damage.
turret should do you solid up until gold 1 in WT.

and yeah if you make it to the final round as a solo you just gotta bank on being better then all 3 of them cause they are probably a 3 man.
and by better i mean you gotta be able to win a 1v1 quickly with any of their team members

unfortunately WT has no SBMM so you gotta take the good with the bad and really bad
and just expect your facing 3 mans.
best other advice is asking your team if they want to que up when you get a good one. if your social like that.

another good bit is just stick with one of your randoms and play off them. even just you working with one teammate can make a difference.

Well fact you mention KD so much, let alone at all, in it shows you may lack what you need or at least the right mind set.

You can have -10836669185498.34 KD and be 1 the best at least up until a point, in world tour, granted there would be heavy SuS on some form of reverse hacking but still could be 1 of the best up to a point.

Also granted you will struggle in last round but that it, that the only time KD somewhat matters.

people are trash at objective based games. they also lack mechanical skills and panic mid fight. most people suck at this game. no one thinks at all or pays attention then when they get out skilled they just ♥♥♥♥♥ and ♥♥♥♥♥ until it gets nerfed
