Interrupt Challenges are bad.
Let me say it plainly: Any challenge that requires an opponent to do a specific action sucks and generally is poor design.
The interrupt challenge is already annoying enough to achieve as short of stuns, you have to kill the enemy trying to steal. And they can just, you know, stop stealing. Time wasted, and opportunity lost.
Now for the situation to occur in the first place, you need to control the cash out, and have team mates who are both not good enough to eliminate enemies before they get close but good enough to actually get the cash out going in the first place.
It seems backwards making interrupts the challenge. It would make much more sense to simply make the challenge to successfully complete cashouts/terminals.

Any form of achievement or challenge relying on opponents to do something specific is awful design and should never be used.

it will happen naturally. annoying and takes time, but it will happen. Just camp the cashout with a shotgun and kill them before they can react.

I'm not saying it's impossible. My issue is with the poor design of the challenge in the first place.

It should work as "Interrupt is deal any damage and within 5 seconds that enemy stops stealing but does not gain control over cashout." This way it works by stunning, killing, or just being enough of a threat that they have to stop what they are doing. You know... interrupt.

And that's another example how it's poorly designed.

any rational person would assume this is what was ment by interrupting or stopping a steal.
