I personally find its range decent (with the red dot) and recoil a non issue at close ranges. With the ttk the target is normally dead before recoil is a factor.
I only see about 1 lmg heavy player every 4-5 PS matches so can't comment on that. The M60 is solid but little more than a fringe irritation. Deagles are probably the only impactful heavy weapon I face atm I'd say.
kinda the same issue with heavys flamer in S3. it was never actually a good gun... just everything was so nerfed it became one of the best options. so good in fact that people think its been shadow nerfed even tho its just the same as its always been. only heavy just got access to their LMGs again and got the deagles.
being depraved of viable weapons really messes with people's perspectives when they get actual options back lol. i can only imagine the outcry when lights actually become viable outside of the few good light players.
and the m11 just got a red dot that makes it feel WAY better at a medium range.
Grenade launcher was just the issue last week- let's wait n see and stop being so emotional.
Spear + HandGestureCancel is an unknown light-sweeper.
Turrets/Mines are a great anti tool for lights since Glitch shuts off cloak and turrets are just Aimbots if you're defending them, but also depends on ur Team, vs the enemy Team, and the Gametype.
all im saying is don't be surprised when they nerf the M11 or buff something else and you die to another playstyle you don't respect. Figure out ur counterplay or learn to laugh it off.
Ahhh, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Sure, you can have a team full of lights with uzi's, but the ones I see winning on the regular are M with the assault rifles. So long as your team is balanced AND sticks together, them gatflies don't matter.
I think it is likely exacerbated because I tend to mainly play powershift rather than cashout. An organised and balanced team will always win out. But outside of slide spamming Model users I never feel frustrated by facing Medium players.
