FCAR and AK

Whats the point of using FCAR if AK is just better now

Yeah I've been trying to use the FCAR just to switch things up and it just puts you at a disadvantage.

Ye same experience. Like i find myself lasering people with AK more often. Recoil is easier, more ammo and more RPM. AK also got faster TTK

very much no. FCAR in earlier seasons was good because it was more accurate than the AK despite it having less bullets in the mag. It should be doing better dmg at longer range but currently its recoil kicks hard before stabilizing, nullifying the point of the weapon. imo, this should really be reverted in some way, keeping AK better at close range and FCAR better at long range.

People dont realize that at mid range FCAR melts AK users? And at close range whoever scores more headshots wins no matter which gun you choose. AK superiority is a myth.

this would make it overpowered. Compared to the AK it would have similar ttk, better dps, better reload, better range and a more potent mag, just for somewhat better recoil control.

Nah, Fcar still very solid choice. Fcar hits harder and has better accuracy(not same as recoil) as long as you get used ot the kick you fine. I personally run the AK, but only cause I like how it looks.

I'm not sure it's fair to say one is better than the other. The AK is more forgiving, but the FCAR rewards you for having better aim.

FCAR with iron sights is kinda underrated but very bad if you cant get used to the recoil.
