My theory is either they just were in shock by how good a player was or perhaps cheaters are more prominent in different regions

Console IS Aim-assist, has always been that way. Tis why some of the small folk think that a controller is more precise then M/KB.

Even when Im getting destroyed I almost always never assume someone is cheating, I feel like most people who post on here about cheaters just simply suck at the game and are trying to find a reason as to why they aren't good.

it's probably not as common as you think that ppl are cheating, sometimes they're just having a great game.
I for one am of the mind that if they have to cheat to beat me, I don't have to win to prove I'm better - I don't cheat, I'm better.

and if they aren't, and I beat them anyhow, ah well - nothing's worse for wear. Complaining about it on the steam forums'll just get you harassed :/

Constantly being 2-tapped destroyed is a problem with most games this day in age.
Everyone pretty much uses the gamer version of Steroids and that is the infamous USB hardware aim assistance devices sold on the internet.

Publishers ignore it because if they cracked down on it. 35% of their player base would be banned.
