Heavy build?
I like heavy. But his abilities are downright useless.

Goo gun takes way too long to build anything, and the mere mention of fire destroys all goo on the map instantly. Not to mention all the explosives that can simply blow it up. Please make it a goo grenade launcher, or make goo resist fire. No more spreading of fire, just the part that got hit burns away.

The winch claw is not terrible, but very niche. Unless you have overwhelming close range firepower, the claw kills you instead of the enemy. A light, after being grabbed, can easily outgun you. It cannot be used with half the weapons in the game. It also does not help to catch lights running away, and it should at least do that. Make the claw extra effective against lights with a gigantic hitbox, and 100 damage on a light if you grab them. No extra damage on a medium, and doesn't work on heavies.

The charge is nearly useless. You can use it to go through a wall and that's it. It doesn't deal damage, it puts you in a terrible spot in the fight, and you're not even fast using it. The charge should have much, much higher movement speed to be used for a getaway or a chase on a low hp enemy. Keep the damage low, but at least give it utility.

Finally the shield. Frankly it's a bad idea to begin with. It's extremely powerful in premade teams, and practically useless in solo queue. I suggest removing it entirely at this point, and making the bubble shield an ability after buffing it. Make bubble shields disrupt eachother so only one can be placed on a single spot at a time.

RPG dealing more damage to yourself than someone else is ridiculous. 150 damage flat on a point blank hit. You hit yourself for 150, but the light is deleted. Any light getting close to a heavy should be deleted. Over a bit of range, down to 120 damage.

C4, again useless. The nuke was the only viable strat for it. Needs to instagib anything standing on top of it. Extreme damage. If you catch someone with it, they're gone. Even a heavy. But it only does that on manual detonation, shooting it or trying to explode it will simply remove it.

Buff his machine guns and shotguns, and the grenade launcher especially. That has never been usable, let alone viable.

Also heavy gets an extra grenade or mine when he equips any of them.

Heavy takes a big brain to play effectively and even then I think a lot of their weapons are still fairly weak but they have fun combos you can pull. Goo is pretty bad I wont lie but I've seen people get really creative with how they build bridges and scaffolding with it and patching holes is somewhat useful. Winch is my favorite personally since you can combine it with anti grav cubes to move the cashout into better positions. Also combining it with any of their close range weapons feels really good and limits the amount of kills you lose out on due to range and since it stops opponents from being able to shoot for a sec. Charge is not useless at all, a lot of pros are saying it needs to be nerfed since you can juggle people with it and do ridiculous damage (up to 180 i think?) all for simply pressing a single button. I'm not super familiar with his shield since I think it's garbage and just run barricades instead but it's possible I'm missing something with that. RPG and C4 is a super common pick in higher ranks due to the sheer damage you can pull off. It's basically all we have remaining of nukes but it is very effective. As for buffs, I wouldn't touch RPG since it used to oneshot lights back in the day and that was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and the lewis gun is fine as is. M60 definitely needs a buff, its objectively heavys worst weapon but the devs wont touch it for some reason. The SA is meta iirc but I find it super inconsistent and mildly unpleasant to use although idk how to fix that and the devs have already said they're planning on reworking the GL since it is uniquely bad

Heavy is the strongest class in the game, what the hell are you on about. I main Googun, I crack out goo bunkers in 4-5 seconds. plug entire rooms in about 8-9 what are you talking about. Bring Goo grenades aswell. be creative.

Howmany times ive secured boxes solo, by just plugging their entrance and hear them go crazy like an angry hornets nest. Its so fun.

goo gun is the best, I love gooing on everyone

1. Goo gun is for mobility+ specific goo usages (filling some holes, sealing cashouts, enemy cripple). If you mostly need to close chokepoints, goo nades are your best friends.
2. If you hook a light and he outguns you it's humongous skill issue.
Hook is also very good for cashout manipulation.
3. Charge does 130 per first impact and 50 for consecutives and slam can do up to 150 area damage.
Still good on destruction+ steal canceling.
4.Shield is op in a good team, not really for solo.

I somewhat agree on rocket launcher tho, since it's finally balanced, enemy and self damage should be the same, up to 100.

C4 is for cashout drops mostly, not the damage.

I can assure you that everything except the mesh shield is very viable and extremely effective when you use them properly. Especially the charge.... its literally a button you press to deal damage for free. The winch claw completely disables someone and lets you also do damage for free. The goo is less of a free damage button ... but it can be

Jokes on them they just gave you napalm. Make a trail of goo from the burning stuff, fire can travel over good distances so you can make those trails quick, then stick the enemies with burning goo and keep sticking them until they die. Best part is theres barely anything they can do at that point since they're constantly getting stuck with burning goo that they cannot shoot through.

Note due to the reload on goo gun plus the enemies having teammates you may need a teammate to help you. Goo grenades can also be used for quick cover to let you reload, while keeping the fire burning for more napalm. This is not fool proof and probably far from being the most effective way to play, its just fun and surprisingly effective when done well.
