AMD Ryzen 5 5600H with Radeon Graphics 3.30 GHz
16,0 GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU
I have all updates.
This problem caused for the DirectX with integrated graphics. The integrated graphics with amd processor is older version so DirectX12 doesn,t support this older driver that's why the game is crashing and showing error. So you need to switch your preferred graphics processor to dedicated graphics. For this go to Nvidia control panel and go to 3D settings switch to Nvidia graphics for you preferred graphics processor and select openGL rendering GPU then switch to nvidia geforce graphics from auto select and now you are good to go. Your game will not crash anymore.
my hardware is
-r5 7535hs
-rtx 2050 mobile
-16gb ram
hey, were you able to solve this problem? I have the same problem and the same components.
Yeah fixed it, but don't know which is the fix, because I did all of it in one go and restart the game:
1. Reinstall easy Anticheat
- Go to where you install the game
- open with administrator:
- Uninstall_EasyAntiCheat.bat and Install_EasyAntiCheat.bat
2. -Open "System Configuration" from start menu
- Go to "Services" Menu
- Tick "Hide all microsoft services"
- Press Disable all (make sure microsoft services are hidden)
3. - Open CMD in administrator.
- Type these: ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
netsh winsock reset
netsh int ip reset
netsh interface ipv4 reset
netsh interface tcp reset
exit
-type/copy-paste these one by one
4. - Change the game (Discovery.exe) to use only DGPU in Setting>System>Display>Graphics
- Change it also in Nvidia Control Panel
5. - Go to Control Panel>System and Security>Windows Defender Firewall>Allow an app or feature through Windows Defender Firewall
- press "Change settings"
- "Allow another app"
- "Browse"
- find The Finals exe file (Discovery.exe) and Start_Protected_Game.exe in steam game folder. Skip if done so
RESTART AFTER DONE ALL OF THESE
Crashing at least twice a day.
it worked for me
Make sure your paging file is the same size as the amount of RAM you have installed in your PC.
To do this press the Windows Key or go to the search bar and type in "SystemPropertiesAdvanced" then click on the "Advanced" tab click on "Settings" under Performance, next go to the Advanced tab and then check under the Virtual Memory section to ensure the paging file size is the same as the amount of RAM you have installed, if its not you can change it there.
This solution solved the crashing issues my brother had as his VRAM size was set to 2GB when he had 16GB of RAM installed.
Hope this helps!
