FPS is getting less and less? Help?
I feel like the more I play the less FPS I get. I now have an average of 90 FPS, although before I always had at least over 120 FPS. I don't want to be a crybaby here, I know that many people out there could only dream of having a constant 90 FPS, but it can't be that it was so much better back then and is now getting worse. Sometimes I even have FPS drops up to 30 FPS. Anyone have any tips?

I have:

RX 6600
Ryzen 5 5600
16GB RAM

Also a 144hz monitor, Freesync activated and FPS set to 140 capt. And completely set Windows to performance.

No, why, your situation can be understood, for example, I also have a similar problem... my config is Xeon E3-2673 V 3 (12 cores 24 threads at 3.0-3.1 GHz) + RTX 3060 12 GB MSI Ventus + 16 GB DDR 4 Crucial + 256 GB SSD Silicon Power.
Previously, I could easily afford to stream in 1080p quality 60 FPS, and at the same time have 60-120 FPS, but on average it was about 90-110 FPS, now - often my FPS is approximately at the level of 60-90 FPS , and the average FPS is approximately 65-85 FPS (sometimes - I see such FPS even when I just managed to respawn, let alone what average FPS I got during battles). Because of this, image tearing became more noticeable when VSync was turned off, and all this with DLSS turned on in Balanced mode (without which, perhaps, the situation would have been even worse, and it would probably have been even worse if I had RTX turned on) . And yet, this despite the fact that I recently lowered some of the settings by 1-2 levels (for example, I lowered the textures from “Ultra” to “Medium”, I also changed the effects processing to “Medium”, and so on.); and Shadows - I always had them at the “Low” quality level. Of course, this is especially evident on the Kyoto map (but I’m not in a hurry to somehow swear at the developers, over time I think that this will be corrected).
Well im on the weaker specs side. I have a rtx 2070 mobile, i7 10th , 16 gb. before on low settings, 1080p , i would get around 60-80, a little more on some maps, now im getting 40-70, its still playable but i feel i have a disadvantage in such chaotic game here every frame is precious. Some maps are more demanding than others, but i have been playing since beta and i came back just today and i noticed a difference on performance.

if anything I'm getting better performance now than at launch, and to the detriment of visuals, lighting/shadows at distance look terrible now like they shorted the view range for certain things. Kyoto runs terrible though compared to the rest of the maps. im playing maxed with maxed RT at 1080p and I hit my frame cap of 165 on sys horizon, and I get anywhere between 110-140 fps on the launch maps. Kyoto is 110 or lower and I've seen drops into sub 50s (destruction is bugged or servers or something right now and it's worse on kyoto too)

I think the main problem is "destructible buildings". I'm not talking about breaking a wall. Making a small hole in the wall with c4, breaking charge, rocket launcher and similar things does not use the PC very much. I'm talking about the complete demolition of a huge building or buildings. As an idea, it may be very nice in theory, but in practice, it uses too much CPU and GPU when buildings are demolished. If you are making an online FPS game, the most important thing is FPS stabilization. This game should run stably at 2k resolution and 144fps lock on an average gaming PC. The idea of destructible buildings had to be abandoned because it caused a huge FPS disadvantage. Who plays this game for this mechanic? Is that so important? I think it would be much better if it didn't exist at all. Many players stopped playing or didn't give it a chance at all because it ran at low fps.

Before I start playing any FPS, I evaluate its optimization. Even if it was the best FPS game in the world, I would never choose to play it if it wouldn't run 144 or 165fps lock on my graphics card.

I play at locked rockstable 150fps (no Frame generation ones) for around 4 months now, no matter what map or situation.

AMD 7800X3D+ RTX4080

Didnt recognize a FPS reduction during this time

try stretched 1280x960 or 1440x1080 resolution?

It may be that major destruction keeps the FPS low, but I don't think that's the main problem. I and others have had the experience that things were running much better months ago, which means that something must have happened in the last 10-20 patches that caused the performance to get worse. Or so I think. To the other colleagues with the 4080, I don't think you have any problems with a CPU+GPU like that ^^ I had stretched in there at the time, but at some point I couldn't cope with stretched anymore. I will test this again with different resolutions.
I've got an old but decent config and i feel like fps is getting less and less too... This game need better opti.

Stretched is not for me. I don't get along with it very well and unfortunately it's way too pixelated. It actually didn't bring a big FPS boost ^^

Well, this game is more CPU bound.
I had locked rocksolid 90FPS with sligtly different lowered settings with my 7 years old 8700k before. (@same RTX 4080)

And cause my 7800X3D had a defect, I had to wait 2 weeks for a replacement 1 month ago, i had to switch back to my 8700k.
Didnt realize any reduction in FPS. So same 90FPS with the 8700k like 3 month before.

I discovered something funny. I've only been playing casually for the last few days because when I play alone, I don't play ranked. Yesterday, however, I gambled again with a colleague and went straight into the world tour. I immediately noticed that the game runs worse there than in casual. That's how it went all evening. World Tour performs significantly worse for me than Casual. Very strange indeed.

I moved all my computer components to a new case yesterday and my cpu now only hits 80 degrees instead of the 90-100 it hit before and I'm hitting my frame cap on every map now, so I guess I was thermal throttling?
