Steam deck can’t play the finals, it says failed to load the embedded resources steam deck

can any people help, i buy steam deck and find that many game can not play...................

Run "sysctl -w vm.max_map_count=1310720" as root in terminal.

Then set launch options to "PROTON_USE_EAC_LINUX=1 mangohud gamemoderun %command%"

do NOT do this, these arguments are NOT needed for steam deck

vm.max_map_count=1310720 was ONLY useful with INTEL CPUs and this has been patched

PROTON_USE_EAC_LINUX=1 is a default setting

mangohuh already enabled on deck through gamescope

gamemoderun useless + unavailable on deck

4. Choose "bleeding-edge
4(a). Return to Home
5. Go to The Finals Game Page
6. Go to Properties
7. Set Compatibility to: "Proton Experimental'
8. Launch The Game & Enjoy

the latest stable version
the game also runs well on my linux desktop with proton GE 9-10

yeah it runs on linux and linux blows unless your really into computers
i aint got time for that and wish i looked more into it before getting one.

i just ended up giving it away lest the 800$ machine goes wasted and unused

i think theres a way to convert it into a windows OS but best look online for that or get someone to do it for you.
