Anyone else got their name changed in-game? if yes.. whhhhyyy?!!? how to even change the name.................?

It's tied to Embark ID now, they generated names for all (I know, pretty silly if you ask me), but you can change it.

Locate Embark ID profile by pressing "+ Invite to party" in Main menu center screen. Click your name on the left in "Party" list. Select "Edit your display name".

Embark ID profile page will open in your web-browser where you just need to login with Steam account.

That's.. unfortunate, you might want to try again tomorrow and see if it works and if not, you should send a ticket to their support.

there's been a live tile on the main menu for a month now about this (also on patch notes, but understandable nobody sees the patch notes because they aren't posted on steam). Also probably 300 more threads about it on steam.

i barely play any games..and the finals i played mostly 1h (or 2-5 matches) maybe 1-3 times a week. so i didnt even see the patch notes about it... and i searched threads but couldnt find any about name i scrolled like 20 pages off threads...nothing about name change.. thats why i wrote a thread. cheers.

Be aware, it seams there are some scam sites pretending to be Embark portal. Use "Escape >> Go to Portal" button in game menu.
