why instead of the graffiti and emojis and stupid stuff you can equip why there is no stuff like: hey dudes, we need somebody get aps or hey dude, dont be stupid and stop attacking your own teams barricades and so on. also tell them that on power shift you can switch classes, if you are sucking so hard that it hurts you can switch so you can actually support your team

I am gonna be honest there is no good argument for not having text chat other than it excludes console players and the devs don't want you to be toxic with it. The only people who think it is a good decision are somehow convinced that their teammates will be typing the whole time. It should be nowhere to be found in Titanfall 2 by that logic and yet it was a day one feature.

i guess it's because the toxicity inherent on the online gaming scene but i guess they can code that offensive words to be censored or something.

Because we've all played PvP games with text chat before and seen it happen.

The second one push goes a bit south, the typing starts, and then it's impossible to come back from it. So you've probably just never played Overwatch or WoW PvP.

You say in your title that you "understand that text chat is not available" but you don't seem to understand why.
I'm gonna tell you : because most of players play a game to have fun, and don't want to obey orders from a total random guy like YOU. Can you understand that ?
I don't care if my playstyle doesn't fit what YOU like, that's not your duty to tell anyone how to play or what to do.
You wanna lead your team and give good calls and info ? Get yourself an audible microphone and join voice chat. Most of "serious" players who wanna perform will have voicechat ON.
Otherwise, anything that resembles "orders" coming from an angry kid who wants to think for others is certainly not a good idea to add.

(plus there are already various call outs and pings even quick chats, all of which people too rarely use and when used its not like they almost ever listen, showing that ya people don't want to listen to your ideas on what to do rather they good or bad and to waist time typing them up instead of just using the in game ones is silly).

The only thing text does is bring toxicity and toxicity leads to more prone to quit/afk/troll as agitated kids and "kids" tend to do that.

Without text there is therefore less quit/afk/troll ... and again no wasted time typing up pointless things.

Granted will say the pings can be a little aim sensitive and more often then not they will default unto objective even if aimed at a enemy that happens to be same direction as objective marker.

When someone decides to be toxic, usually his goal is to get a reaction from people, and you would like to give him exactly what he wants ( = you being butthurt) ? That's literally the definition of giving a stick to your bully so he can keep beating you harder. Have you got masochist tendencies ?

Also, there's a report system at the end of every game. Maybe not perfect system if you are against/with cheaters and would like to leave an unranked game, but it exists nonetheless.

Engaging with players trolling him like that is exactly what those guys want. Chat would only further frustrate him and make them laugh even more. Counterproductive. Report and leave match if they make it unplayable.

imagine thinking like that on a team based game. althought i will never give an order, maybe my english is that bad but then again, team based game and ♥♥♥♥ smh. althought i get you, most of the times when i see the group im in just dont have idea or they dont want to go for the match goal but i guess getting kills i totally stop playing and just fool around in the map away from the dangers of being killed for no reason.

I don't understand why people are so against text chat. How is being toxic in text form any different than being toxic in voice form? If people are so concerned about toxicity, should we just remove in-game voice chat, too? What if someone who doesn't communicate at all is being toxic by constantly teabagging on opponents or using taunts after every kill? Should we remove crouching and taunts from the game?
