Application Hang Detected
I'm literally tired and frustrated with this situation, and I don't understand what's happening. Every time I advance from the first round of a ranked tournament, the game fails to connect to the second round, and I get an error (popup): Application Hang Detected, which causes the game to close, so I have to reopen it and reconnect to the match. The funny thing is, I can still play that match, but once the tournament is over, the game thinks I abandoned it, resulting in me getting a ban. The problem is so recurring that I've accumulated a ban time of 1 hour and 50 minutes. Insane.

Does anyone know why this problem is occurring? It started happening to me since an update in the 2.X version, I don't remember exactly, maybe 2.4.0.

I forgot to share my hardware details:

- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D 8-Core Processor 3.40 GHz
- GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT
- Memory: 16.0 GB

All my drivers are the latest one.

I discovered when it happens, the game eats almost all the memory: it normally takes 7gb, and for this case, 11gb or 12gb....

Ok, I know when this happens: basically my match ends, there's another bracket still playing and I have to wait (screen where you can see all the contestants), during that time my memory increases a lot until have the error. I found the trick: close the game and start again (reconnect the tournament) meanwhile another bracket is still playing. What annoying situation

I will try to report to Embark Studios.

Finally I upgraded my computer from 16gb to 64gb and the issue is not happening anymore. However, this doesn't mean that memory will continue to grow given the situation I mentioned earlier., but now I have more memory and I can tolerate the increase of memory on the loading screen.

Intel Core i9 11900k 24gb RAM RTX3060 Ti also having the same issues. Maybe I should just throw money at the problem and buy another ram stick

Given your specs, looks like 24gb could be enough. In my case and based on what I tracked, my 16gb was not enough to support the loading screen when another bracket is still playing and you have to wait. I still think there is a memory leak in the game, and by chance with more memory, my computer can tolerate this issue. If you can, check with your task manager in Windows when loading screen is working, and see if the memory increases a lot until the game crashes.

By the way, I reported this to Embark, and no luck... all the answers were like hearing a bot.
