Hey Cabaylicious, here are a few suggestions you can try:

• Make sure your computer has enough space to install and play the game. If you're low on disk space, it can cause issues during installation.
  
• Run the game as Administrator and ensure your operating system and drivers are up to date.
  
• Verify the game files on Steam to check for any corrupted or missing files.
  
• Temporarily disable your firewall and try installing the game again to see if that helps > I can't install the game - PC version.[id.embark.games]
  
• Clear the download cache on Steam. This won't affect your installed games, but you'll need to log into Steam again afterward. You can find instructions on how to do this here: https://help.steampowered.com/en/faqs/view/6AD7-820D-8BE5-E51F

Same problem. Reinstalling game, clearing steam cashe didnt help.

Found fix. Delete the steaminstall.vdf file from the game folder and then launch the game through steam app.

a fix that worked for me was editing the Install_EasyAntiCheat.bat and removing the line that says "pause"
