The variety of things that happen in these videos are like devoting the gpu to the game to make the game use the GPU instead of CPU, turning off various windows settings that perhaps hinder the performance of the game by using up CPU while you try to play the game, turning on various settings that maximize the CPU allocation to the game instead of other things like turning on "game mode", conventional upkeep like updating drivers, questionable methods like setting a max to your CPU usage by changing that in the windows power plan settings, and finally adding settings via the config file to promote stability by lowering or disabling various things of the game without being exploitable or cheating
