I just started and I was wondering if there's a lot of cheaters in this game ?

No there's no cheaters on the finals, easy anti cheat is the best sotf to prevent cheating. You can enjoy the game especialy ranked since lobby's in high elo are funny. it's a peaceful game who doesn't lost 96% of his player base... From +100k players to 20k because of cheaters.

You will see them in platinum/diamond in ranked. You are fine in casual

Like every 1-2 match in Asia server I met at least one hacker. Been in a lobby full of hackers too. Go try it if you don't believe me

There isn't any FPS online multiplayer game out rn that doesn't have cheaters.
If you play ranked there are even more of them.
If it's something you concern yourself with too much you'll feel like the skill gap is just cheaters vs noobs. But there is alot of room for self improvement and skill in this game so try to enjoy urself. (yes there are cheaters)

on asia i meet around 1 to 2 cheaters every 5 to 10 matches in plat to diamond

I started playing the game a couple days ago and just finished a couple games where 1 guy was kind of sus. I know Steam community forums is the last place to get good info, but I figured I'd pop in to see how many people were complaining about cheaters. It seems to be a thing, so I did a little more research.

I jumped on one of the bigger game hacking forums and found their board for The Finals. There's at least a dozen free, undetected hacks available right now. Color bots, no recoil auto hotkey scripts, etc.

Battlefield Bad Company 2 had AHK no recoil scripts. It has to do with how the gun recoil is designed in game, and using a macro for your fire button doesn't use 3rd party software and is undetectable. I don't even think VAC will ban people for using macros, so I doubt the pedobear anti cheat does either. It's a problem that's never going to be solved, as I've never seen another game with this problem solve it. It will come to a point where you're either using a recoil script or not being able to compete.

every free game will have more cheaters than paid games, and despite what people in this thread say, there are more cheaters than just the super obvious rage hackers beaming you across the map all headshots. I play against a couple potential cheaters in quick play daily.

I guess it really depends on which data center you are playing on, like eastern servers have a bad problem I take it. a lot of players want china region locked because they don't view hacking a game like hacking a bank for real money. So we suffer..

Still waiting on a single piece of evidence from you. "Trust me bro" is not evidence. You only think they are obvious because of ego. Unless you want to bring proof at ANY point.

pretty hard to prove anything in this game since the interpolation is ♥♥♥♥ and game doesn't have kill cams. I had a dude on my team yesterday using the M11 with recoil scripts and it was obvious as hell watching him. Unfortunately I wasn't recording though, I don't always remember to turn on nvidia overlay. but playing against him you would never guess he was cheating because he was actually ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, like most cheaters are. but likewise I can say the same to you. Saying "only 10 cheaters in 250 hours cuz I said so" means literally nothing.
