how does the new ranked indicator work?
I won a tournament and the three top arrows filled up. the next game we got to the second round but then only one arrow was white. do you go down now if you don't make it past the second round? I feel like this is more confusing than when we couldn't see a indicator

I don’t understand anything either. You pass the first round - they give you 1 arrow. Then you win the tournament - they give you 2 arrows. Then you are eliminated in round 2 - the arrow becomes 1 lower

I'll add. There were 2 arrows on top. Eliminated in the first round - demoted 3 arrows down. Thank you, Embark. Keep it up!

Why can't we just make the ranked like in season 1?

for me after getting to the second match and loosing that i got 2 arrows up and the next game i lost the first and it was and arrow down
I guess the arrows just mean that you gone 1 2 or 3 points up that match and its not that when you reach the top you get promoted.
If this is the case then its useless because it doesn't tell you how many points until you get promoted. I known if I win a match I get get closer to a promotion.
It also takes away the scoreboard at the end which is more useful than the arrows.
I just don't understand why you would introduce a new system to a major part of the game and not explain it.

yeah cuz its seems to just show that if you got 1 up on the arrow you just got alittle bit closer to the next rank and if its 3 you got alot more points but i stilld dont know where i am on that scale, like how many up arrows do i need to get to the next rank ?

at first i thought oh nice if i get 3 up on the arrow you rank up since thats what happend for me on my first tournament win but after a few matches its just as confusion as before they added this arrow bs

My friend, I had 3 arrows, I won the tournament and nothing has changed, as there were 3 arrows, it remains the same

that means you got elo up twice. I don't understand why nobody understands how the ranked system works. Your elo is hidden, the arrows show you whether you gained or lost and whether it was significant or not. If you get 3 up arrows one game, and then 3 up arrows next game, that means you gained a bunch of elo both times, not that "nothing changed" Lets pretend your elo was 1000 points and each arrow is 100 points, you gained 600 points and are now at 1600 points, next game if you lose and you get 1 down arrow, your elo is now 1500 points. It's not rocket science, basically every game with a ranked system uses a similar system.

I had 3 arrows up, won a tournament, got nothing.

Then lost a tournament after and it was 1 arrow below, The ranked system is garbage

because how can i have 3 arrows up, and then win a game, get nothing, but then be 1 arrow below after 1 loss?

The ranked system is poorly made and confusing. that's why nobody understands.

its really not confusing. I literally just explained it. what arrows you see one game has nothing to do with what arrows you see the next game. You either get up arrows or down arrows (you gain or lose a little or a lot), that means you are gaining or losing elo. Just because you see 3 up arrows doesn't mean you are going to rank up next win, it just means you got "a bunch of elo points". You got 3 up arrows, so you gained a bunch of points, then you lost, so you lost a little bit of points. Not hard.

It is confusing. it makes no sense to have 3 arrows up, and indicate a rank up. only to not give anything on a win. It makes less sense, to drop 4 when you lose one game.

Pretending to know their garbage system is wild
