Embark employee: Please call your executives at Nexon/Embark, and ask them to give more money or hire more employee (mathematicians, software developers) to fuggen finally get a proper anti cheat, or some machine learning anti cheat, or whatever.
Yes, I understand, that game is basically on the life line, with maybe 5 employee left.
All personnel is switched to the development of Arc Raiders, and all that 5 left can manage right now is creating penty micro transactions and one new map every 3 months (sys horizon is a low effort map, a lot of players don't like).


- The skill based psychologically-manipulative-addiction "engagement" optimized match making - asbolute cancer.
Your execs and people in charge should be ashamed to use something like that, especially since a lot of your customers are children or juveniles , who are mentally not fully developed.
- Additionally the ranked matchmaking in general is mostly bad and unfair.
I'm platinum from season 1, > 250 hours (in game, not inflated steam numbers), and if I solo queue or party up with three other gold/platinum players, we either get opponents way below our experience/skill level (which makes matches unfair for them/too easy for us), or we get top 100 dimaond 3-parties, or only high level platinum with diamonds.

So we either have a walk in the park or we sweat to death and have little chance,
Playing time and location: Prim time (afternoon - late evening/early night), Europe.


Now if that isn't bad enough, the last 25 ranked matches I had today (so total 75 oponnents), had at least 15 individual cheaters in them (I counted).

- Only 4 of them were the "obvious cheaters" who shot everyone from the distance, give headshots mostly, do way too much damage and obvious things like that.
- The rest were the problematic " not so obvious cheaters ", were one has to fight them at least 2 - 3 times, to realize that their aim or behaviour is humanly, mechanically impossible .
So: the smart cheaters who tweak their aim cheats/anti recoil to not make it too obvious that they cheat.


Embark/Nexon employee, do something.
I hardly have fun anymore with ranked. Just make the matchmaking balanced and get a working anti cheat.

Finished 3 ranked matches.
One of them had a premade 3-stack (the same people who cheat for months) team with 2 obvious cheaters (platinum and diamond) who did mathematically/mechanically/biologically/humanly impossible damage with hardly missing shots from 30 meters.

The heavy shot me from 5 meters away through my shield.
That's impossible without cheats; one has to be directly at the shield in order to shoot through it.
The other time he did double the damage of mine, despite we shot each other from a distance of only 7 -8 meters, I had my full health, my crosshair was directly below his head (I had some headshots too), and I was hardly missing.

Just like that ... double damage, way more headshots. His cheating light friend was jus as obviously cheating.
I shot at him with the Lewis Gun from 4 meters. It takes 6 bullets to frag a light.
Magically he fragged me first.

It's no fun. Quit the game, do something else.

Another thing: I'm not saying that the cheater rate during prime hours, Europe, is always 10 - 20 %.
In fact I noticed for quite some time that when I rank solo queue against gold/platinum/dimaond players, and they are mostly solo queing too, the cheater rate drops to 0 - 10 %.
Yes, lucky, I sometimes get even 2 - 3 matches without cheaters.

I noticed the 10 - 20 % rate of "obvious and not so obvious cheaters" is almost always occuring when I group up with 1 - 2 other players (2-3 man stack) and we are matched against the same 2-3 man stacked gold/plat/diamond teams.

In these cases the "matchmaking" freaks out and I mostly play against platinum and top diamonds 2-3-man stacks.

Or in other words: The 10 - 20 % cheating occurs mostly at the top, the > 10 % of plat/diamond players.
Someone posted two months ago (data grabbing from steam) that the percentage of players at platinum and diamond is only 10 %. (It's the developers who set the pecentage % how many players go to bronze/silver/gold/plat/diamond, not the players themselves).

- the most experienced/skilled players are
- were people group up 3-man stacks to win more
- where people try hardest to win etc.

In general: Nothing surprising. Competition gets the fiercest at the top, and here the most people cheat.


If anyone reading this and does not want to face cheaters:
- Don't play ranked at all
- stay at the bronze or silver level, or at the low gold level maximum
- avoid grouping a 3-man stack when you are at the gold level, during prime hours, Europe.
As unfairly as it already is, not only will you paired against teams full of platinum/diamonds
stacks (as described above), but also plat/diamond cheaters.

i dont play ranked :) this game is not prioritized yet as a competitive based shooter, for the first couple of seasons their trying to fix the balancing of the game. As other games release their original anti-cheat to circumvent the issues easy anti-cheat has (E.g. CSGO will release the first original anti-cheat) this will lead to the finals having their own anti-cheat to circumvent the issues of easy anti-cheat. Whilst this sucks for everyone who wants to achieve the early ranked rewards such as the season 1 diamond pistol. It allows the player base to remain casual whilst they work out the ♥♥♥♥ anti-cheat. Hoping for a better future where y'all will be able to play this game competitively without dealing with ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ like fcar aimbot. (I don't play ranked often due to me being a sledgehammer main i don't want to ruin others experience with my off-meta pick, with the nuke i could compete but now i find my loadout to be relatively useless.) hoping for the best future for this great game and hoping for an original anti-cheat that permits true ranked gameplay :)

-Teammate said that "YASSER" was diamond, cheating throughout the whole season 1.
No mattter the reports, no ban.
He was only giving headshots and even behind the barrirer/shield.
- Then the ORANGE heavy turned his cheats on during the match, and only thing I heard when he shot me from 15 - 20 m with the LEWIS was "ping ping ping" headshots
- Light turned his cheats on during the match too (likely anti recoil stuff, no hard aim cheating) and was hardly missing, mostly giving headshots and behind the dome shield.

THANKS Nexon/Embark, for 5 months of no proper anti cheat, no proper matchmaking, but only psychologically-manipulative-addiction "engagement" optimized match making, to make people - especially children and juvenile - addicted.

12 matches, less than 30 individual teams. The first 5 matches, 4 teams with 5 individual cheaters with Chinese letters.
Than 4 matches lucky and no cheaters. The last match the team from the previous round who had no cheater in it, the heavy player (no Chinese letters this time) just decided to turn his cheats
on and headshot everyone (or else his team would be knocked out).

Unranked is just as bad. In every 4th or 5th match of Quick Cash I play there's someone blatantly using aimbot, I'm talking 30+ kills, perfect aim through smoke or landing 4 consecutive headshots on Light while they're using grappling hook 100 metres away.

I'm slowly running out of slots on my block list and once I do, I'll probably just quit. I gave Embark benefit of the doubt at first since its their first game but its been months since release at this point and the situation is just as bad as it was shortly after launch, if not worse.

Ahhh, the best experience, not only when the sh.itty matchmaking pairs one against higher ranked teams throught the knockout rounds and in the finals, but also when all 3 of them are cheating.
- Xiaoyi aimbotting with 24 frags pre-final match, aimbotting in the final too
- the other heavy has some no-recoil cheat
- and Satan himself is wallhacking

I wasnt in their games so i cant say they are or are not a cheater but i have put scores up just like the ones being posted here and i dont cheat... So in my eyes it is easily possible these players are better than average and also maybe had a good round.
