what tick rate is this game

i suck at the game as everything else but seriously have seen a tone of youtube videos of this, people shooting poeple and the game doesnt regristrate the hits at all, just curious as its annoying as ♥♥♥♥

i don't think that info is publicly available. but this will not be on par as CSGO due to the real-time destruction so hitting register is secondary.

I personally havnt had many issues with hit reg and I'm like 200 hours in.
If hit reg is going to annoy you, I do not reccomended you play any online shooters, maybe try a MOBA?

This could seriously be a number of normal hardware/software issues... That said. I have experienced a few folks hacking and using a tool that just stops people from taking dmg, or rather they have no hit box, or infinite I-frames.

That said, could be that you are in the wrong servers and all the jazz too since you have to set that yourself in the settings menu. Turning off cross play helps a lot too because consoles systems do some weird things on the security side (... is ironic) and that can really mess with certain PC to Console interactions. The lvl of internet could not matter because its really on someone else to send to data through on the other end.

Could just be hackers, report individuals with the statement and if its really bad make some video snap shots/captures of the incidents and send them to the Dev team's official support channels.

Lastly, in this game, since you can use a controller, just use that and you'll be better. The aim assist in this game is hacker lvl. lol I do not use it, but if its in the game.... Kidding aside. Drop your settings, this game has not been optimizatied yet and some computers/pcs just can't handle how ridiculous this game is sometimes cause they keep messing with stuff on the back end.

Some animations are played before a tick even occurs if the action is performed, in most multiplayer games. If you reload, or die before a tick occurs, then the server doesn't know those actions occurred until the next tick for example.and animations for reloads would likely played before tick, but death, on or after the next tick.. 15 would be extremely low for an online multiplayer shooter. it's likely 30-64 and you're getting unlucky timing, Mathematically. a shooter would feel super out of sync at 10-20 and you'd notice it often.

Your personal hardware might have an impact as well, if you're playing in low fps and the on screen information isn't up to date with the server, it may feel like others are prefiring on you, or that you're dying when you shouldn't have. Meanwhile for them their on screen information is more up to date with information on the server and you definitely did die/ they weren't pre firing on you, you were just exposed and they could see it sooner.

it's a bit more complicated than tickrate, due to movement and destruction being server side. One thing is for certain is that the problems get way more obvious when you are in a lobby with high ping or playing against a player with high ping. Since ping is basically doubled since the game has to constantly update the server just to move you.

i would say make sure you are playing the region you live in.
my game at least started in auto region meaning it just finds whatever game it can the fastest and that lead to alot of hit reg issues for me since it would regularly place me in servers across the ocean

hahaha well heres the thing, it is a fun game but just not fun mag dumping a magazine in to someone that stands completely still and you are so close that you cant see anything else than them on your 32.9 monitor hahaha well im just amazed that servers today can't just not be 128+ tick, well as you see a ton of older games like privet servers on older games have better servers just weird hahaa

yeah i do think it is the servers and thx for good tips, well i got a 1gb internet speed and well somewhat decent pc, and well the controller aim "assist" is just haha it proves our point that aim bot and aim assist is just the same thing but as you can with some cheats change how much it aims for you haha
