For me, it was the skill-gap. I was getting smashed every single game and it just isn't fun. I understand I'm not very good at the game, but it really just isn't fun losing every single time. I play Apex and Fortnite, and I do very well in those two games, but I just can't even compete with these kids. I was hoping SBMM would fix the issue, but it seems to not have made any difference. Unfortunately, with the low player-base now, there is absolutely no chance for this issue to be fixed for me. Anyone still playing is going to be so much better than new players.

Is your experience with the game worse because that number isnt 100k?

Maybe, bcause dont have players in tournament in my server from brazil for example, this affect my experience with the game

Maybe its a region issue but in OCE the games are infested with cheaters from ASIA, like PUBG and Apex. Its not like it isnt happening in every online FPS game at the moment but FTP brings all the boys to the yard.

The idea of FTP is great and the devs making cash of microtrans but with zero buy in and being able to just make a new account without any cash investment if the cheaters do get banned its pointless. They either have to come up with an insanely anticheat or its a waste of time. That said Escape from Tarkov is damn expensive and thats riddled with cheaters so even charging people for the game isnt an effective barrier.

Even Helldivers 2 which has a kernel level anticheat that caused a massive uproar has cheaters in it, and thats a COOP game lol. we're doomed!

play in oceania. rarely see cheaters the last month or so.

if they are cheating...they're terrible because I'm not particularly good and I still have a fun time.

The new time limited mode is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ garbage! No way am I playing this crap...

1. The intro animation is INSULTING to the fans!
2. Your wearing the western outfit, instead of your normal gear!
YES! Your wearing the VERY OUTFIT your TRYING TO EARN!!! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ STUPID!!!
3. The random loadout, OMG I am going to throw up....WHO...WHO thought this was a good idea? I don't mind a winner take all 10 min match vying for the most cash but HOLY CRAP...never...NEVER tell your playerbase they HAVE to use a "random" loadout for every single game in your limited game mode because it ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks, it does not work, I used a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ shotgun and it BARELY does damage...AT POINT BLANK RANGE!!!
4. Twitch drops, ok I'm done here, I'm not going back to that TRASH platform to grab a western item that DOES NOT help me in the game. Let me guess...it's a weapon skin, no thanks. Give me season 2 and SOMETHING that's actually worth MY time and MY money thanks very much because right now THIS is not it.

Glad to hear if the cheaters have dropped off in OCE but so have the overall player numbers..... I mean overall its down to 10 - 15% of the player base they had at launch, that's a huge drop in players.

Do you really expect 100k people to keep playing the same 2 gamemodes in the same 5 maps over and over again?

I still play the game sometimes but I'm going to quit soon as well if devs don't add some actual content that isn't cosmetics.
