aim assist exists because a mouse is like 600% easier to aim with
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lol. Mouse and keyboard require practice, hand-eye coordination and some degree of skill. Your average M&KB player can barely aim worth a damn. It's a skill. Skills require PRACTICE (scary I know). SOME mouse and keyboard players are very good at aiming. You should not feel entitled to their same level or degree of skill just because you bought a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ play station.
Allowing an ENTIRE generation to aimbot to make up for that perceived "advantage" while simultaneously and very VERY disingenuously ignoring that MOVEMENT is significantly easier on controller and and that movement plays a MASSIVE part in multiplayer shooters is the biggest crock of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I'm still forced to hear dribble out of modern "gamers" mouths lol
You can use well practiced hand-eye coordination to aim well, so I should have the ability to bounce around you like a ♥♥♥♥♥ up chihuahua while simultaneously popping ENDLESS free head shots because...baaaaalllllaaaance? LOL
If you wondered what happens when you let an entire generation of entitled little asswipes grow up staring at an iPad, and wonder why they can't "win all the things" just by tapping a button, you now have your answer.
And for the record, no; mouse and keyboard is NOT 600% easier to aim with than a controller, because there is LITERALLY nothing "easier" than the game aiming FOR you. If you're too lame to practice your aiming and get better, you don't deserve to win 90% of your matches. That's what Fortnite, Apex and Overwatch are for. They don't care about balance or skill either. They just want your money.
Im mouse user tldr aiming is easier on mouse no contest
Well there surely are some stupid aa out there but the current state of the finals it isn't even noticable and like embark told themselves the game isn't performing as expected at least so a slight adjustment might help casuals to get in. A option to turn on or off to play only against your kind of input would be surely fine
Controller with AA made people completelly unskilled, a bunch of noobs that since can't aim (due to obvious issues with the used periphetial), they need "artificial help".
Controller and AA made FPS a cancer, and the players more of a bunch of noobs that think to be skilled because the "artificial help" they get made them appear "skilled".
MK is not EASIER to aim, it requires skills to do so, a perfect control over the movement, since you have no locked axis you can't forcefully stop somewhere in the middle at your will, it's all based on your hand and muscles. Then comes the DPI, the lens sensitivity, and so on.
Who says MK is easier never played seriously and only casually and should not speak at all about this argument. Yeah, you CAN play casually but the fact doesn't make you an expert compared to people that REALLY play more seriously and had to WORK OUT to make their aim a gigantic skill with a periphetial that doesn't have any help in aiming and locking to a target.
"MK is not EASIER to aim, it requires skills to do so, a perfect control over the movement, since you have no locked axis you can't forcefully stop somewhere in the middle at your will, it's all based on your hand and muscles. Then comes the DPI, the lens sensitivity, and so on" well neither have we and guess what to controller our thumb we also use a muscle but we use one thats way less accurate and we have a way smaller degree to aim and move. I mean guys there is a reason why aa was intended and that's obviously cuz m&kb is superior for fps games
You sound like the typical dude who just hates that controller exists and would like to only have m&kb as input honestly I'm not interested in speaking which such ppl have a great day.
Gigabased
Firstly, you just DID. Secondly, I've been "gaming" since the NES. Been using controllers my whole life. My first shooters were Golden Eye and Perfect Dark, both of which I played WITHOUT aim assist on. Weirdly enough, it WAS quite difficult at first. Most skills ARE before you practice them. I didn't expect to win every match when I first started out and I sure as hell didn't feel entitled to it.
That's where "practice" comes in, which is the step most aim assist abusers like to skip ahead of. "Its hard" is usually incentive to get BETTER. But why bother when you can just flip a switch and win for free? You all are just lazy -_-
