Ping is a measure of latency or how long it takes for information to get to the servers / back to you. Your 100mbps is a measure of bandwidth or how much information can be carried in a second. if you have 1Mbps, or 3Tbps, your ping wont change. Things that can affect your ping are server location, ISP location, medium of connection (hardwired vs wireless). This is also why other games can feel fine, but this one doesn't - if the other games have servers that are closer to you or have less hops along the way, you will experience less latency in your ping in those games.
Also, if using a VPN, turn it off. VPN will add a lot of latency.
