Blocking someone in game.
If I block someone in-game, will it prevent me from getting them on my team again?

I’m soooo tired of getting terrible ranked teammates. Just had a guy who only had 1 kill throughout 2 rounds. He wasn’t even a healer.

Nope. You just blocked them from friend requests and contact.

happens get over it
Wouldn't make any sense for the game to ban him from being your teammate. Then you'd just ban all subpar players in an effort to only get the best possible team. The ban mutes any communication. If you want a good team, then get on discord or add the good rando's you come across ingame.

Absolutely it does not make sense. Imagine blocking everybody until you are the best. Can't imagine the waiting time to get a full match at that point.

It’s not like I block every bad player lmao. He was the only one I’ve ever blocked. He was beyond bad, I don’t know how he even reached that rank.

Skill based match making in the finals usually puts at least 1 lower skilled player on each team, otherwise kill streaks would be more uncommon. Don't hate the player, hate the game.

It was ranked though. We were all the same rank.

Rank does not equal skill, despite popular belief. Speculation is that "matchmaking is entirely based on a hidden MMR (Match Making Rank), and that visual rank is not a factor. " match making with different skill levels in rank or casual has been reported since launch. This benefits newer or lower skilled players so they'll play longer at the expense of the high hour or higher skilled players experience.
