However to prove that they are DELIBERATELY teaming is nigh on impossible.
Sometimes enemies will work together for a common goal such as prolonging the match if it means they can do a turnaround.
And sometimes they split off and refuse to fight one another cause there's no point when they could run away.
Teaming is not queuing with 6 people trying to get in the same game, what youre talking about is win trading, where you would be deciding the eventual first place.
What im talking about is teaming up with a random enemy team, with the goal to take down another superior team that you wouldnt be able to take down yourself.
In this senario you would still have to have a deciding final round between the two of you.
People are already doing one sided teaming, where you choose not to shoot a team because its okay if they take the cashout. (ie in quick cash, where the other team would win, so both teams focus them because they are the main threat)
what im talking about is both sides being aware in tournament mode, possibly even communicating to take down a larger threat.
If my team isn't in danger of being knocked out, I can help the weaker team knock out the second team that is a bigger threat.
This is a legitimate strategy.
I personally believe an argument can be made for every situation that wasnt a stacked 6 player team that queued at the same time before the match started.
Even in a situation where the two best teams in the game teamed up, if it wasnt a predetermined team, I believe is fair.
Only one team can qualify in hard teaming, if they were rolling like that for the entire game. That means that you would have to have 3 players who are going to give up all chances of winning for another random team.
Sometimes, its hopeless from the beginning, one player is getting 20, 30 kills. That team will win regardless of who qualifies with them. in situations like this, it doesnt matter who qualifies, as long as its not that team, and i for one would happily give up my win if i can make sure they dont qualify. It would give the other teams a fair chance at winning in the final round.
