FIX FOR THE FINALS NOT LAUNCHING SINCE PATCH

If you cannot open the game since the nexon anti cheat patch, try this:
Close out of steam entirely and re-launch it as admin and The Finals will launch properly.

Fixed, good one. I tried everything, and it was so ridiculously simple. Also: Embark, shame on yourselves, Steam & Valve themselves do NOT recommend running Steam as Admin, so congrats on breaking pretty much every single code of conduct rule for developers on Steam. Are you proud of yourselves yet?

Running Steam as admin is the worst possible thing to do security wise. Steam has had quite a few security snafus in the past.

Exactly my point. I hope after doing so just once fixes it, I do not want to run Steam permanently as admin because of this.

Restart your computer and then try the admin launch

Nope, restarted pc, ran steam as admin, verified files, and still crashed seconds after opening
