Buff the R.357
I’ve been maining the r.357 or “deagle”. Embark, give this gun a damage buff. 3 shots to kill a light is egregious when lights can just 2 tap you with the sawed off shotgun. 250 dmg for a shorty but only 148 with 2 bullets from the r357. And not only that but why is the reload longer than the fcar 2.15 sec reload meanwhile a rifle reloads at 2 seconds? Give the high-power revolver the recognition it deserves more dmg shorter reload time.

they need to remove ADS spread entirely, it's still unreliable because of that, but I agree, the amount of times I leave a light with 1hp and die is extremely frustrating.

Exactly, and that wouldn't even be unreasonable with the sheer amount of other broken weapons that heavy and light both have.

a deagle is definitely not a revolver. please abstain from misgendering it

They had that in Beta, not a good idea. It was the meta weapon because of that.

"Revolver vs. Light" is a solid case for per-weapon headshot modifiers.
It absolutely should NOT 2-tap lights while also killing them with 1 headshot.
It would be acceptable only under one of two sets of rules:
-We agree that the current number of body shots is fine, but that a headshot should be more rewarding. (e.g.: body shots go down to 60 damage, headshots go up to x2.5 -> 150)
-We agree that it should always be 2 hits, regardless of either hit being a headshot. (e.g.: body shots go down to 80 damage, headshots go up to x1.75 -> 140)

Under any other set of rules, the Revolver would completely invalidate the Lever-Action Shotgun (which would probably need it's own pass for this new set of regulations), especially in that particular (and very common) matchup.

I can agree 2 tapping lights would not be a good solution, i would love to see more rewarding headshots, and maybe even a slighter accuracy boost for hip firing, with the amount of utility that the r357 is forced to attempt to break like mesh shield and automatic turrets, its almost impossible with just 6 rounds.

The revolver could spiral out of control pretty quickly, if it's damage is increased. It's damage thresholds with body/headshots are already the same as the sniper rifle + 1 body shot. I think it's fine as is (maybe the ads bloom can be removed, but I'm barely noticing it messing with my shots). It's a good weapon for medium range. Of course it gets outgunned by a shotgun on close range. But on most other ranges, you can destroy lights.

Ottr has even said its a high risk, high skill weapon, with little reward especially with its unnecessary damage dispersion.
