Pc latency..

So iv been playing for a while, but iv noticed my latency seems to be very high, 26 ms to 37ms, iv tested every other game and my latency is 6 to 12, it only seems to be this game. My connection is very good. Randomly for some days itll be some what ok, but then for ages its really high all of a sudden, is it a bug? or? its only with this game

If you're playing under 50ms latency you've got an amazing connection to the server. The only way you're getting those lower pings is if you live like next-door to the data-center, lol.

I might be biased not living in the country that has the data-centers in it. But yes. For most of the world, sub-50 ping is considered very good.

I normally get 6-12 ms, my wifi is good, and most other games do not have this problem, just the finals, im running an rtx 4070 and a ryzen 5 7800x. Funny enough before the update i was hitting 110-130 fps most of the time, but since this update my ms has been so high and the fps has dropped quite abit, which is annoying

i think hes talking about system latency not ping/internet latency.....

You have a mess in the discussion. the answers are all about PING. Nvidia shows the system latency. Regarding the delay, I also have 17-23 in this game. for example, in сs2, the delay is 7-9ms

I am on about my ping, all games i play i have 6-12 ms yet the finals is always at 25/30 sometimes 35/40, great interent, high fps, only ping issue i have is with this game, nothing to do with my cpu or gpu, temps are fine, high fps, all other games fast connection and i also have very good internet, its a game issue

yes bro, i have a good system, 4070 and a ryzen 75800x, high fps, fast connection, and all other games 6-12 ms, but with the finals its alwys 25/30 sometimes even higher which i dont understand why, even with such a high fps, i very rearly dip below 115 fps, it must be a game issue, its not just me, its only this game

Nvidia overlay doesn't show network latency. Loci and HardEnzo are correct

Shadowplay / Postprocess stuff/ anything that increases rendering load will increase game latency.
You 100% do not have 50ms system latency. Wouldn't be playable.

50 ping isnt amazing no, >=20 is amazing, but 50 ping is not a disadvantage to the point where its an excuse for looses in a ranked game T_T 50 ping is more than playable, ping only has a bad affect 75+
