Is it me or is the game not fun anymore?

The longer me and my friends have played this the worse it has gotten, on launch when we all played we had a blast. But as we played longer and longer we started getting more players with annoying weapons like Cloak+Shotgun or using the goo gun to stun lock enemies, or full teams just using snipers to not even win but to just annoy the other team as well as all of the cheaters, I'm trying to enjoy the game but I just can't and it's a shame because this game is so different to the other shooters and funner.

Yeah. The meta kicked in and you're either playing it or getting played by it.
Add the obvious engagement based match making along with the rampant cheating and you've got a recipe for failure.
Add a dash of, devs-take-forever-to-do-even-the-simplest-tasks and it's basically guaranteed that the game's dead by summer with barely 4-5k left at peaks until they officially announce the sunsetting around Jan 2025.

nope game is not fun at all anymore im just in there to try to complete the battlepass i bought but after that i think im not going in this game anymore.
cheaters in every match , sniper who just sitting on high position doing nothing while in the enemy team is allways one who hits you never mind what you do (guess snipeing is just to easy in this game) and if its not that you have to fight against heavys camping a spot hardly with nukes and rocketlauncher and nadelauncher - fun fun fun

I got the battle pass too but I'm struggling to complete it because I just can't find a reason to even open the game to do the challenges

so lets make that clear , gid gud means for you grinding youtube videos about meta builds and abuseable strats to annoy other people just to NOT win maybe but to have high kill rate ? and that in a game where recoil is super easy and with just a few guns there is not much to learn and even if you suck with aiming , just use melee weapons - easy kills

like i expected from someone who use "git gud" you seam not to be good at all. and dont tell me what your rank ist i do not care about ranking at all, because high rank only means "play long enough and you will get higher automaticly"

Nah, closing 600 matches, game is more fun now I would say, the aim-("assist")bot nerf made the game so much more enjoyable. Before that the matches were much more sweaty, now you have a bit time to breath and have actual gunfights.

Haven't noticed that in my games, I haven't been lazered to death, but I only play QP. That would indicate the overall aim-assist was the bigger problem, but if REWASD is working again, I'm sure the devs will patch it, like they did before.
