The dude would be getting like 20 kills 0 deaths while both squad mates were alive, and when we both die, He switches it off, he's suddenly more ass than we are. Dying from a light's ninja sword, or a player that empties a whole clip and reloads on him. When we team revive, he instantly back to getting 20+ more kills, killing teams with a revolver that aren't even in our visible range yet.
So basically, they can switch it on n off whenever they feel the need to. I think this is done because the in-game report option only works for reporting teammates.
(But i could be wrong on that last sentence, i never reported anyone before)
It seems that most mods are made to be turned off and the report part of your comment seems to be done on purpose, so it's harder to submit a report on cheaters, unlike Valve that allows you to submit a report during any part of the match.
That is cool tho! I've forgot to mention:
Teleportation:
- Some type of cheat that allows any class the modder plays to use the dash ability infinitely, tho rare, this is one of the most frustrating mods I have seen used, as it allows for cheater to poke fun at it's prey in a very horrific and annoying way.
- This one is kind of cool and I've experienced it just now, I think guy's game crashed tho, but he popped on the enemy team shooting explosive out of an automatic weapon, destroying everything in sight, he wasn't in game for too long tho, we should record these matches.
- You have programs that trick the game into thinking MnK inputs are controller inputs thus getting the games AA while on MnK.
- You have the obvious rage hackers in 1/10 comp games that beam you on heavy without even looking at you from across the map.
- You have DMA-based cheating issues at the higher levels of most FPS games which lower your trust in "talented" players and aim content creators.
It's possible to be good and hit the highest ranks legit-but is it really worth the hassle? The game naturally is awkward to carry in as well with the TTK and how the objective works so high performing solo players are still banging their heads against the walls trying to finish the season up and get diamond.
- I don't know if it's client based or how is this made to work, but I had a match on Las Vegas where every prop (fire, gas, smoke, explosive) picked would immediately explode! This is very frustrating with explosive barrels because as light you die immediately. And no player got elimination so it's just annoying mod.
