Tekken 8 is so good. I haven't bought the full title yet (gotta give it time to "cook" and make sure it works on linux) but the demo was beautiful.

On a funny note, people over on the fighting game forums cry because of the new leverless controllers. Over here, people cry because of controllers. I guess you just can't stop the tears.

:v on a serious note, fighting games are generally mostly played on console and every major tournament is on consoles, so... yeah, steam numbers aren't indicative of that game's real success.

I play on my keyboard with asdf & jkl;poiu keys and I mash just fine. Think keyboard (a nice big ergonomic one) is better for the new ways combo work in every modern fighter from MK11 to SF6 and now T8

Yeah people have been playing fighting games on keyboards for years but now the console players are upset that the leverless (kinda like a kid's keyboards with big buttons if you haven't seen one) is "destroying the game".

So the inverse of FPS problem.

Not really fair to compare to a different genre, especially a pretty niche genre (at least on PC) like fighting with one of if not the most popular genre on PC. Basically you're comparing apples to oranges.

Also if you are staying away from 76 cause of the release botch, I would say at this time in 2024 its open world is the best one BGS has put out imo it is >>>>>> any other Fallout, 100% >>>>> Starfield and on par and better in some ways than Skyrim

This is a just another free shooter 1/200 with no real backing or fan base or anything at all.

No to mention its not even Embarks main project or intended game release, it was them just messing around with the new destruction tech engine and they happened to create a game around it while again, WORKING ON ANOTHER ONE intended for release this year LMAO
