Which one is better?

Games that I previously enjoyed: Battlefield Bad Company 2, COD MW2 (2009), Team Fortress 2, Overwatch.

I have more fun in this game but its all up to the person playing... both games are free try them both

Imo Apex has better gun dynamics and more game modes but it's also heavily populated by people that have been living in it since 2019 or cheaters. Servers are dog poop also.

The Finals scratches many of the same itches but with plenty of room to grow. I think people are just beginning to scratch the surface in regards to what strategies and playstyles work in this game so you probably have a better chance at mastering the game and getting competitive here.

This game is closer to overwatch in terms of time to kill, teamfights, roles, fighting objective etc.
Imo is better than apex but rewuires a good team

Cheaters everywhere but it seems to affect the Finals' gameplay much less, especially since the servers (so far) seem a little better so you have time to react. In Apex BR you will waste 10 minutes looting up/rotating only to get insta-wiped by people with wall hacks and aim assist. Game over, try again. In the other modes you can respawn indefinitely but the map is so small and over populated that you end up running cover to cover trying to get the jump on someone but of course all that happens 90% of the time is that they turn around and somehow take you out mid-spray in a fraction of a second. Every fight feels like a light vs heavy scenario where you put some shots in and run for you life/reposition and hope you can get back in before the opponent has time to heal.. oh wait, you thought you were behind that rock? Nope, his shots registered a hit just before and now you're dead.

The one thing that Apex has going for it is a richer ever evolving universe with better character development that tie's in with the gameplay.

Apex feels a little more stale.

Dunno if it's just my 500+ hours or if players just aren't as hype and social as they were.

Apex was good, when they introduced their new ranking system. I stopped playing, when you got paired with bronze players as plat and vice versa. The movement in this game are somewhat similar. Big bonus for me, i am tired of BR games.

But in Apex you can carry your team, here it's way more difficult. Mines, turrets defending the cash out. I can say as a solo player, i would pick Apex over this one. But if you have 2 buddy's that are team minded, Finals shines over Apex.
