What your guys opinion on the flame thrower?

I've been using it religiously since launch. During the beta it was overwhelmingly strong and its good they tuned it down. Now I understand that this weapon is more utility than a killing machine. I don't think it should be heavy shotgun level of damage but I feel like a slight range increase might be a positive. I'm curious to hear what other people think about the weapon. i don't really see many others using it.

I started to use it more recently. Even if a real flame thrower would have a longer range, I think the shorter range of it fits perfectly with this kind of game since it also can be quite disruptive in many ways.

ive been running it exclusively and ive been having a lot of success with it in ranked. I usually prime enemies with rpg or c4 barrel and then finish them off with flamethrower. enemies still get melted even when theyre full health tho
