One Shot kill sniper?

I am very confused. The sniper for me no matter the range is always at least a two shot kill even with 1 headshot. It seems that the further away you are the less damage it does which it makes sense. But I just took part in a game that a chinese player dropped 25 kills with the sniper all being one shot kills from across the map. The player seemed to be able to wipe out the whole squad within 5 seconds even if we were all moving in different directions. Is this a cheating issue with enhanced damage and aim bot or is there a different sniper in the game I am unaware of?

commenting for subscription. I wanna know this too. i've dont alot of sniping even headshots on a light don't 1 shot but i get onses hotted often by it.

headshots in this game do not do 2x damage, instead its 1.5x damage, so youd have to headshot a light to oneshot them, but same doesnt apply to medium and heavy
