my character is invisible in the lobby, and I can't get into games.

so, recently I started the finals and found that my character is invisible in the lobby. I am unable to edit my character or do anything involving my character. when I try to get into a game it puts me in the loading screen and I can hear the game happening in the background but I can't join, then eventually it kicks me and gives me error message TFGE0002. I have tried many videos about possible fixes but none worked. the only fix I haven't tried is unlinking my account because I have money on the game, and around 50 hours of progression I don't want to have to restart. if anyone knows anything that could help without needing me to unlink my account that would be great. thank you.

Same issue here as well. I am going to try to reinstall the game and see if it fixes it.

Edit: Reinstalling did not fix the issue.

Hearing that there isn't really a solution, my idea for a possible fix is to link a playstation/xbox account, unlink my steam account, and then re sign in when I start the game. I will try it and see if it works.

unfortunately, on the website (https://id.embark.games/id/connected-platforms) I can only unlink the most recent added platform. so it looks like it won't work. also, there is an error every time I try to unlink my xbox account which stops me from doing that as well.
I really love this game and am excited for what comes, really hoping they fix it soon!

Same issue here, tried tons of different things but nothing worked. Tried verifying games files, uninstall/reinstall, turn off game overlay, reset video settings to defaults, and more, but no luck. Going to try setting up a second account and seeing if that works.

Only fix is make alt steam account because that will make new Embark ID. Game is free so not bad way to play till they patch corrupted Embark ID

to anyone wondering, CM | 北京烤鴨 Momo on the official discord server said they reported it to the devs and it is being worked on. GOOD NEWS!! hopefully it is fixed soon.
