Discovery.exe flagged as virus by windows defender

Windows defender is detecting: PUAAdvertising:Win32/PCAppStore.

I guess it's a false positive but still weird.

Since this update I cant start the game because of that discovery.exe...

Same happened to me. I uninstalled the game and it flagged it while it redownloaded. So I decided to wait until the next update before trying again.

6-7 hours later, windows defender flagged the rockstar launcher and uninstaller for the same reason.

I did a full offline scan and found nothing but I’m going to wait a bit and see if it’s a known issue with defender. If not, I’m doing a clean install. Two instances of the same malware being flagged on different programs makes me fear it’s something nefarious making it’s way through my PC.
