My fixes for crashing
Guys - I fixed all my crashes tonight. Here is how and why.

Why crashing?
I'm 99% certain it's the dx12 implementation. This was my speculation initially as dx11 never crashed for me.
I initially disabled overclock on my GPU (clock speed) and crashing was reduced, so it made me investigate further.

What fixed UE5 ANGELSCRIPT_CALLSTACK exception crash
-DISABLED ALL VRAM overclocks, including vram timing back to default
-UNDERVOLTED my GPU.. but left a very tiny overclock on for stability (Im using 6800XT)
-Increased my GPU power intake to max (+15% on AMD GPUs)
-Update windows. They recommend it on their website even - it updates your DirectX with it
-Some people say to uodate your motherboard BIOS. I was already up to the newest version since a while so I cant comment on that

What fixed FULL PC CRASH
-DISABLED RAM XMP profile

Dx12 implementation in the finals seems to be VERY unsafe with memory management, hence the crashes. Removing overclocks and undervolting GPU increases stability (to a point) , and it seems especially helpful in this game

Disabling XMP profile on RAM removes ALL possibility of instability stemming from an unsafe implementation of the game. If GPU runs out of VRAM, it CAN tap into your normal RAM. So again, Im for now linking this to Dx12 being wack in this game.

Anyway hope this helps.
If you have no experience in system BIOS or overclocking/undervolting, consult a guide or someone with experience. You can harm your PC doing most things I mentioned above

Again, every PC is different so this may or may not work for you - but the takeaway here is - stabilize your GPu and RAM, and you should be good.

To be honest as dx12 gets used by more and more games, with less competent devs, you're gonna have the same problems.

i had a hard crash multiple times and uninstalled the game
i think it could be my xmp profile running my ram at its maximum capability....

Disabling XMP removed my system crashes completely. I later actually re-enabled XMP and realized that I needed to increase voltage of RAM manually, it doesnt increase voltage on its own, so the RAM was way undervolted for the mHZ. With the correct volt I can play the game with XMP, but there is still some device-related unreal engine crashes (my keyboard hungs for some reason in this game)

I have drr5 5600 cl36 memory on samsung chips, and I was plagued by crashes in the middle of the game every third or fourth match. The problem was solved by raising the memory voltage from 1.25 to 1.30 volts and improved ram cooling. Everything began to work stably after that.

So I can confirm that it's a system stability issue, but I haven't had any problems playing other games or any stress tests before.

I tried disabling xmp yesterday and it made my crashes wayyy less , I guess i can deal with that

I came to the conclusion that in my case the game overheated the memory and it started working with errors. Installing a fan above the memory sticks solved my problem completely now.

I didn't want this to be true. I did a small OC and set an undervolt on my computer yesterday and only tested it for FPS. 1.5.1 came out and I was crashing and couldn't figure out what it was for the longest time. I reverted my PBO back to auto and set my All Core curve optimizer magnitude back to 5 instead of 25. I reapplied my CPU offset voltage to 0.050 because the game was fairly stable then. My game stopped crashing. It's unfortunate because my computer was working just fine with my other games. The finals and DX12 being greedy D;.

I tried every other thing that has been mentioned so far to fix the ue5-discovery crash. This was the only thing that reaped positive results.

P.S. Forcing DX11 wasn't stable either. I also did not disable my XMP (edit)

Yeah, let me disable all my hardware enchancements so I can avoid crashing in F2P game. I regret buying the BP.

unfortunately, I have a cpu that can't be clocked, so basically I'm forced to try and find other methods of fixing this dx12 crash ♥♥♥♥, but I did set it back to dx11 and it didn't crash once, as expected right, however the biggest thing I read was a little comment on reddit where someone deduced that nvidia couldn't change dx12's shader cache but it could edit dx11's. This could be the exact reason why dx12 crashes and dx11 stalls instead of crashing. I hope this info helps and maybe we can figure out how to edit dx12 somehow bc I'm totally ignorant

the crashes in dx12, for me, have nearly always been a sudden stall then crash, where dx11 would have almost identical stalls except they would actually load. That does seem like a size issue right, like bluntly a size issue.
