I know but I feel that if I'm the user, I shouldn't be the one solving this problem by not being able to use my hardware's full potential.
This is the developers responsibility completely, especially when it's a game released a few days ago.
The best part is that there were no problems during beta. And don't get me wrong, I think it's a good game, but problems like this should be a top priority in my opinion.
Currently since the last hotfix 1.2.3 there are 2 big issues.
1. The angelscript / out of memory issue.
2. The blue screens.
I have been looking through logs and dumps and I think it has something todo with a mismatch or very strict setting in Easy Anti Cheat. The devs have controls to check for issues through the SDK. So its up to them.
I agree that underclocking is a BS solution when everything else works fine.
Your information about the Easy Anti Cheat being part of the problem is interesting. I'm hoping that if that is the issue, and you as one person were able to track it down, that an entire team should be able to confirm it, nail it down, and fix it in relatively short order. The fact the angelscript issue is not even on their "Known Issues" page makes me nervous though.
blessing in disguise
